Not seen a thread on here yet. Apologies if there already is one.
Anyone else into it? I always like to see higgins and o'sullivan do well but since they're come up against each other I'd like to see higgins progress.
And higgins just played a shocking shot. Aye I didn't see that but heard them talking about it earlier. Always good to see Dott getting hammered.
He's a left hander aswell, superb potter. Got a good chance of winning it if he keeps his heed!
Errrmmmm, possibly? At the St.Peter snooker hall in the sky. Not much of a snooker fan then?
William Alexander "Bill" Werbeniuk (14 January 1947 – 20 January 2003) was a Canadian professional snooker and pool player. Recognisable for his girth, he was nicknamed "Big Bill". Werbeniuk pioneered the style of safety shot in which a red ball is hit powerfully, with the cue ball hit low enough to screw all the way back into baulk.[dubious – discuss]
I've not watched it much this year, although i am a baig fan. Would like to see the young lad trump win it, hows ronnie been playing as he got his level head on or is he his usual self?

From what I have seen he is playing well but I'm no expert just a casual fan. He almost didn't play but has looked good.
And in saying that he just hit a simple shot with his left and totally fucked it haha.
Trump is brilliant talent just dont think he has the saftey play etc complete game to beat the likes Williams, Ding, Ronnie or Higgins just yet expirence is the key at this stage atm
Cant stand higgins the cheating cunt should have been banned for life and ronnies a faulty cunt even though hes probably the most gifted player ever went to watch semis last year but definately one of the most corrupt sports out there..

Love the game myself and right up there with in my top three after hurling and football. O'Sullivan is a genius but he's as mad as a march hare - always looking for the meaning of life is our Ronnie. My dad was a handy old amateur player and used to play the circuit up and down the east coast of Ireland and that's how I got into it. Alex Higgins was one of my first sporting heros and he, without doubt, made it the game it is today. I can also remember crying when Jimmy White threw it away against Hendry after being miles ahead...and of course that black he missed, 1993 I think. Have happy memories of having sneaky cigarettes in the local snooker hall as well mid 90s. A game that I have a big emotional attachment to for sure.

Love the snooker, think Ronnie will win providing he keeps his head together.I play myself but pretty poor i enjoy it for the social aspect of it,having a laugh & beer.Dennis Taylor was doing a exibition a few weeks ago could not make it but the lads reckoned he was very funny & a great guy.
