Can someone tell me if the royals actually bring more money in than they take. I have seen people blasting about these claims but with no evidence. I would imagine it is impossible to get a true figure unless you stop everyone entering the UK and ask them if they are here because of the queen.

Impossible to say IMO. Do people go to Buckingham Palace hoping to catch a glimpse of Her Maj? Prince Andrew seems to be making a bit of a fuck up in his trade ambassador role (or whatever he does)
I love seeing the Union Jack and St Georges Cross everywhere, but as someone has already said, where is it on St. Georges day or any other good occasion?
This country has gone to the dogs I agree Matt, we both know what Leicester is now like because of the immigration, they just stand/sit around in town all day raking in the money that the tax payer is having to give them.
The sooner I fuck off out of this country the better.

Buckingham Palace had a bumper year last year with 413,000 visitors over its summer opening. It's only open a few months a year. An adult ticket is £33, a youth is £17 plus merchandise and teas.
However staff costs are deducted from that. The vast majority of takings from Buck Palce are then donated to charity. My point here - open all year round barring essential royal engagements and share the fucking wealth.
I'm no loyalist. The civil list gets right on my tits when you consider the royal familes personnal wealth through the duchy of Cornwall, other land, properties, equinne interests and the like.
Buck Palace, the crown jewels and the largest collection of art in the world are being looked after by the queen for us - as there ours. Bless her cottons.
Im a supporter of the monachy, but yes its overkill. What annoys me is all these wankers driving around with union flags in their cars and stuck on their living room windows, where were they on st georges day. Bandwagon jumping shitehawks.
You know the reason St George's day can't be a national holiday is because the Queen is the head of State and Church, right?
I'm in the States right now, the Yanks seem to fucking love it. Me, I couldn't give a fuck - the irony of hearing people slating 'scroungers' whilst praising the Royals is something else though!
No modern society should have a monarchy. It's a symbol that says it doesn't matter how hard you work or how much good you do, or even how much money you make - you can never make it to the top of society because you have to be born into it.

If any one is envious of the life the British Royal Family lead then they need their heads looked at. I think it's an absolutely miserable existence. They're welcome to it.
I'm not a Royalist and I'm not anti-Royal. It's all I've ever known and they don't rule the country, we have an elected government for that. The amount of money that tourists from all over the world spend in Britain is huge and a lot of them want to come here to see the Royal palaces and stuff. As has been said the yanks go nuts for them and so do the Japanese.
It is estimated that the global TV audience for the wedding tomorrow will be 2 BILLION. That is a third of the worlds population. Just think about that. Staggering!

Hang on, are we talking about the royals here or the immigrants?
I agree........more of a curse IMO.
Aye, you tell that to a single mother with the bailiffs knocking, I'm sure she'll agree.
Fair enough. But who had the most options available to them to be in the positions they are in?
The country must stop for this. Well not for me,the self employed bloke, Off to work so dont really give a fuck, will Put millons into the country but will the Country see it, l dont think so.......

Well if we weren't in one this forum wouldn't of got of the ground. Not much to discuss when everyone dresses like this -
