Not sure if most of you read my thread about a bunch of Nigerian bastards trying to scam me out of my mota I was trying to sell. Had 4 different people trying fuck me over all in.

So the next chapter in my struggle to contend with useless fucks trying to relieve me of my hard earned cash happened yesterday morning. In the shower and I got a shout that "windows" were on the phone. pissed off that I had to get out of the shower anyway it turned out that the missis put the phone down.
Next thing get some fucker from India take tone which I didn't appreciate asking why did I put the phone down. Hmmmm......piss has boiled over at this point, composed i apologised through gritted teeth, he then proceeds to tell me that I have several viruses on my computer and he is ringing me from windows to help me remove them at a price (only disclosed at point of removal) for 60.00 quid. Already offey with this scam as they tried to screw my grandad I led the cunt down the garden path, then resorted to say that we all have apple software, also why the fuck would you be monitoring my laptop?

In the interim I was saying I don't have viruses. I know i don't, blah blah.
Eventually told him to fuck off and don't ring again. Have I got mugged tattooed on my fore head.

Consequently I Am developing a foreigner complex and don't trust any of em. But just to add, I'm no racist, and never will be. But haven't been mugged of by a Brit yet.....?

Sorry for the loooong rant gents, anyone come across this before? Or been victim to such bullshit?

My mom had the same call a couple of weeks ago from India and claiming to be from Windows. Luckily she's quite switched on and sussed it was a con and told the chappy to do one.I'm sure some people have been done by it though.

To a crook, it's the idiots who dive in all guns blazing robbing banks these days, the clever ones sit behind computers in foreign lads and rob you legitimately. My mate recently had about £100 just taken out of his bank by a company called "fast loans" or something similar. Checked up the company registration; registered in Huston to some bloke a few months ago. He managed to get in touch with the bank and they sorted it him back, they said it's usually something to do with the small print on totally unrelated websites.

The thing is, if you're head's screwed on, you'll have no problem in getting it back. It's the unfortunate, usually poor, few who don't have the nouse about them to get on the phone and get it sorted.

Banks are just as bad. A bank account I rarely use got a £20 charge on it which took me into an un arranged overdraft. They then proceeded to charge me £6 a day for a month without telling me. A simple phone call got them to completely reverse all charges, an admission of guilt in my opinion. For every one of me, however, there'll be another ten who will stump up and pay it.

Speaking as someone who has been stolen from in the past, it's one of the most heinous crimes you can experience, it makes you sick to the pit of your stomach; a reprehensible act.

Banks are terrible. I've been charged for being overdrawn before, stupid amounts like £35 for being a fiver overdrawn for 24 hours. Just go to my local branch and tell them if they don't refund it I'll move my account elsewhere. Quickly resolves the problem.

Like you say, it's usually the vulnerable that suffer from these crooks

I had a letter off a bank recently saying something along the lines of "such and such tried to take a direct debit from your bank, as you had no funds in your bank we did not allow this transaction. We are charing you £35 for this service."

Service!?
