Forgot about that, I desperately want to play it, but my mates who have a PS3 say its not all that. I love the series though, even though I have a Xbox 360.
It's not. In fact it's pretty average.

used to beast COD for a while but all this college ive been doing has meant not turning the bastard thing on.......only function of late has been as an overpriced dvd player...ha ha hopefully though i'll get back on it anyway. whats everyones PSN name and i'll add you........... but have to agree, there has been sweet FA on the ps3 of late that isworth playing IMO. Do want to play heavy rain and LA noire though..... Battlefield 3 looks bloody good mind!!!
I've got them both and basically use the ps3 as a blu ray player and media player. The xbox is far better for gaming. Haven't played any of them in a while mind you. Looking forward to gears of war 3 and the call of duty though.

Zitat von avfc_LoyalHave an Obsession for Football Manager. Drives me misses up the wall
I used to be obsessed with that. Before, over 3 days, I put something like 30 hours into it. It was half term, but still, thats a hell of a lot of hours just for a game.
I don't spend anywhere near as much money on games as I used to, it goes on clothes and football now. Only bought 3 games in the whole of 2011 I think.

That only came out in late October?! So in 8 months you've spent 700 hours of your life on it?! Fucking hell Spence, there must be nothing to do on weekends for you. Well, except watch Cov, and I don't blame you wanting to stay in and play FM 11 rather than watch them.
Ha the thing is though i've been to 41 games this season so I don't think it's that i'm missing. I do have a job now mind so that's going to be cut down a bit. It's usually just playing constantly while i'm on m computer to be honest haha.
Ryan, some of the cases can be repetitive, especially the homicide ones, don't want to ruin it but a few of the cases involve exactly the same thing happening to certain people. Haven't finished it myself yet so don't know why there happening.
You work your way up through street, traffic, homicide etc. And the game doesn't shy away, it shocked me when I spoke to guy and he admitted being a pedo, I won't ruin it, but lets just say he got exactly what he deserved, whether or not he was guilty of a murder.
Play on most systems, but PS3 is the main one for me, Platinumed (it was easy) SOCOM Special Forces, and currently revisiting Red Dead Redemption as it is a masterpiece of a game.

Zitat von Ryan798Does any1 still play cod? IMO its fucking wank after a few weeeks
We may as well just call this Ryan and Connors Xbox 360 thread
I haven't played any CoD since number 4, if you played that, then went onto the rest, you really would feel let down. Me, my dad and my brother put 44 days playtime into it, this was before I was working or anything though, long ass summers sitting on CoD4 all day. The new CoDs with the killstreak perks which are overly complicated and the weapons which are unbalanced just don't do it for me. A couple of my mates still play it, but mainly for the zombies mode. However, I did like the Spec Ops mode on MW2, that was brilliant.
I prefer RPG games myself. Oblivion and Fallout are amazing. Oblivion is my favourite single player game ever, CoD4 is my fave multiplayer.
Yep, personally can't see anything beating CoD4 for a long time for me, it was ground breaking, changed FPSs forever.
You've gotta get into them, I had to try Oblivion three times and after I was about 5 hours into it, it kicked in, and I've managed about 80 hours on it now. Fable 3 is good, but exactly a RPG sort of thing, its not as complicated, I suppose you could call it a baby RPG.
The new Mortal Kombat is pretty decent as well, haven't really played it though, kinda regret buying it now.
Battlefield 2 is probably the best FPS i've played closely followed by MW2. But I mean i've never been a massive fan of online shooting games. Prefer to play Fifa to be honest.

I did olay them and you did feel massively let down. i think CoD 4 was such a leap forward it had a massive impact and now everything instead of being ww2 is set in the present. I will be getting MW3 when it comes out though. The last FPS i really got into was fear2. That was a great single player game.
