I've been using my PS3 a lot more recently. Play Fifa 11 pretty much everyday online which I enjoy. Play Cod MW2 every so often as well. On my PC I play on FM mainly.
I'm playing Portal 2 at the moment on PS3, cracking game, most of the time though I play old megadrive/PS1/Dreamcast stuff.
On the whole I think it's been a disappointing generation, most of my mates play Fifa and COD and that's it, I like COD but couldn't play it for hours every night like they do. There haven't been many stand out original titles (for PS3) so far, the only one's I can think of off the top of my head are Heavy Rain and the Motorstorm games.

agree with this 100%
all my mates play cod and fifa, nothing else.
I sold my ps3 last year and never invested in a new xbox, so just play my brothers.
Thankfully i shall be investing in a new xbox shortly, along with Portal 2, Crysis 2, LA Noire, Gears of war 3 and battlefront 3 (when released)
So the ultimate question, whats better, ps3 or xbox? my personal preference is xbox, simply because of party chat. I see no difference in gaming in both consoles, however the social aspect of xbox is better IMO
I think the fact you don't have to play for PSN is massively beneficial. Also i've found that you encounter less 7 year olds when playing online on PS3 compared to that on the Xbox. The controller is also a lot nicer too.
Never had a PS3 myself mate, but I've had about 8 or 9 mates who have had both, and they have all said Xbox 360s are better. Obviously people with PS3s say PS is better, people with Xbox 360s say Xbox is better.
Lads I have known have sold their Xbox 360 for a PS3, then sold that and come back to Xbox 360.

Maybe, but 40 quid for a year is nothing really. Also i find that xbox exclusives are miles better than ps3, killzone was shite IMO, whereas i think gears of war is genuis.
I personally prefer the xbox controller, bigger is better
The majority of people trade in their PS3 cause they can play with their mates as the majority of them have an Xbox. Killzone was a decent game in fairness and although I didn't really play Gears of War I didn't really think it was anything special. I think if you're more interested in getting a console for the laughs with your mates then a Xbox is probably better but if you're more into your gaming etc I think the PS3 is better. It's more reliable as well in fairness.
Forgot about that, I desperately want to play it, but my mates who have a PS3 say its not all that. I love the series though, even though I have a Xbox 360.

It is very good, perhaps not as enjoyable as some of the previous ones but the graphics are brilliant. Best driving game series imo.
i have and do still use them from time to time but, they piss me off. the amount of time and thought that gets spent on them by those using it, i feel is ever so slightly wasteful. but thats just what kids are 'supposed' to do. kids could probably tell you anything about a certain game etc down to the last detail. but its of fucking no use whatsoever in reality.
reached for the secret too soon, cried for the moon.
