Just had some real shit news this morning, one of my best mates sisters had been living in Turkey for a few months of the year a couple of years ago and then coming back to England. Anyway to cut a long story short she ended up getting pregnant with a turkish fella, the lad had been coming over here visiting the kid etc the going back to Turkey. She went to Turkey on sunday and was planning on staying for 3 months. This turkish fella wanted her stopping there for good with his family but she was having non of it. Anyway when she arrived she got to his families restaurant and they have held her hostage, took her passport of her etc, and demanded that she rang someone from home to send the birth certificate over. One of her family members rang her to check that she had arrived save and sound but she was only giving yes and no answers they knew something was up so they phoned somebody in Turkey who they knew to get the police involved and go to the restaurant. When they got there they've shut it down but the fella has escaped. He has stabbed her in the leg, sliced her ear and basically beaten the hell out of her. Anyway she was getting in a taxi later on that day and the turkish fella has pulled the taxi over, he must of been watching her from somewhere all the time, he's grabbed the baby by it's neck and fucked off, he is now demanding money to get the baby back, still can't believe it like something out of a film, just hope the babys safe and sound, couldn't think of anything wore to happen to a woman on her own.
Fucking hell, nightmare scenario. Unfortunately, not the first time I've heard a story similar to this. I have strong opinions on issues like this and best keep to myself. The most important thing is that the child is okay. Absolute nightmare, let's hope everything is okay.

I'm sure the local Police force are doing all they can to catch the culprit.

I am so sorry to hear this, i hope the scum that have done this get found but most of all that the kid is ok, nothing else matters as long as the kid isn't harmed, then the police can work on getting the SCUM that has done this.
Bloody hell mate........really sorry to hear this chap......Turks are dodgey cunts mind. Know good ones of course but still very backward over there. Hope he gets what he deserves mucker and it all turns out ok....... Thoughts are with ya chap. Craig
