Quick update as it's been a couple of weeks, Tez is looking really well and has put about a stone on as he's still eating like a horse. His speech has improved and his movement is getting better aswell. He will be moving hospital within 2-3 weeks to help with his recovery. Me and Mark are visiting him Friday night.
So we visited Tez last night and nothing but positive news, he looks a lot better and has put the weight back on that he lost. He was much happier and was laughing along with us, he hasn't lost any of his sense of humour. He had a pair of Adidas LA's there as he has been walking around (y) I passed everyone's best wishes on and he was over the moon, chuffed we are still thinking about him. He is hoping to be moved to the Rehab hospital next week where they have everything for him, the physio and rehab he'll receive there will be a lot more intense but it will be a big help. Not only hydro pools and facilities but they go on trips etc so he can get out and about while he recovers.
He'll also have free TV, he is paying £25 every 3 days for 9 freeview channels at the current hospital, which is an absolute joke. He's gutted he can't watch Babestation
Quick update, visited Tez tonight in the new rehab centre and he was in fine fettle, when I went in his was in the lounge sitting on the settee watching Emmerdale He looks even better than last week and his speech is better, obviously still a long way to go but feels like he's improving leaps and bounds
So we visited Tez last night and he was pleased to see us, he was in his favourite spot in the lounge watching the TV. He asked me take him on a wander in his wheelchair so we set off around the hospital and into the gardens. We just sat for a bit and soaked up the evening sun. He's communicating a lot better now and trying to join in the conversation, also the feeling in his right side is slowly coming back so they'll be working on the physio with that. We then wandered around the perimeter and headed back so he could watch the soaps. More positive signs that his recovery is slowly getting there, one day at a time. I passed well wishes on.
So I went to Tez tonight after a fortnight break with me being on holiday. He was in good spirits, sitting up watching TV. We took him out for a longer walk tonight and before we left he asked for a jacket out of the wardrobe, it was his Barbour Metallic  We had a good wander around and then returned to the hospital to watch the first half of the match. His movement is improving but his speech is taking a bit longer although he has picked up more words since the last time I visited. He has insisted he wants to leave the hospital as soon as he can so he has 4 weeks left there of rehab. I feel he needs longer there but maybe being happier at home will help him recover quicker, I just know how hard it will be for Rhonda to take his care on.
