That time of week again chaps: friday afternoon, work going slow so the perfect opportunity to broadcast your plans to the forum. Generally I feel pangs of jealousy when I read these threads as I contemplate double shifts on Saturday/Sunday but this weekend is different: working tonight, working tomorrow afternoon but off Saturday night and all day Sunday! Got to be grateful for small mercies in this life so planning on heading out to see Pan-Pot, DJ T and Shaun Reeves at Village Underground in Shoreditch. Not been there yet but have heard very good things and the pictures look superb too: http://www.villageunderground.co.uk/about. Before that we're planning on finding a bar that's showing the Haye/Klitschko fight - have a feeling our attire may not be too welcome in a lot of places that normally show boxing but sure we'll find somewhere. Sunday I'm planning on drinking a load of Irn-Bru, eating easily digestible food and trying to regain normal vision.
Venue looks good, have a good one pal. My weekend will be slightly more subdued. I'm off to see Courtney Pine tonight for a bit of Jazz action. Then probably be gardening for the remainder. Rock'n'fucking roll!
Village underground is superb mate. Really good crowd.
Bit of a mixed bag for me, mates flat warming party tonight so a few crates of red stripe are in order. Off to see the pet shop boys with the mrs tomorrow. Apparently take that are on afterwards, I'll be at the bar.
ill spend the weekend toying around with the usual idea that, although its mostly shite, i should still go out and get myself into a state where it would all become unclear to me, thus leading me to think a general state of happyness could be achieved. realistically im at work tomorrow, and a touch ill, cant be fucked on with the weekend pretenders, so ill be staying in and out of the way.
reached for the secret too soon, cried for the moon.
Going down to Hop Farm festival for the day tomorrow, Iggy and Stooges, Gang of Four, Magazine, Patti Smith, Morrissey, Lou Reed etc. looking forward to it.
Zitat von get the beer inAfter an eventful weekend last week, both my good lady and myself have decided it's best i don't go to Blackpool with my mates.
Zitat von WhiteyVillage underground is superb mate. Really good crowd.
Hope so mate, out of interest who did you see there? Hoping that because it's krankbrothers, and because it's mainly advance tickets the crowd will be a bit more clued up than most places in shoreditch.
I've been there for some electro house night and a few filthy dubstep nights, not majorly into dance music, apart from liquid dnb, but I never let that get in the way of a good piss up.

Fair play mate, 'clued up' was the wrong term to use. Students who can't hold their drink and wanks from chingford who just want a brawl (not to mention the hood rats who flog crushed up pro-plus) were the real target of my scorn!
Barbecue this evening and tonight i'll probably head into the city to meet a few mates ... Tomorrow morning i'm off to Hamburg (NOT for the Klitschko-Hayes fight ), have loads of pints and spend 24 hours on the booze with mates before taking the train homeward on sunday morning So i'm afraid i'll feel quite sick on sunday and spend the whole day in my bed.
