Wow I have a little break away see all this, Whats the issue here,? Cant quite understand why Karl wants to leave my man, you have always seemed to enjoyed this place, As for the ever so tiresome Osti/SPW related forums, I think we all know it is different than that and especially with new members who have come on board and shared their views, This board has progressed and we will not please everybody, It is miles ahead of and as active os most communitites in thr short space it had been going. The thing what makes me laugh is none of the negativity or slagging of the forum comes out until one person mentions it, Its like puppets. And the feedback positively far outweighs the negative one from both members and others involved. What exactly is wrong????? There is no incrowd, thats just what you guys create yourselves, if you take a closer look this board drives and runs by what you gentlemen add to it, There seems to be no issues and then all of a sudden its thr worst place on earth. very strange and a shame because this really is a good little place regardless of where its members are from Anyone with any problems then I would hope that you could pm Admin
One of the best things on here is the diversity of clothing and wether you love it or hate it [SPW] it doesn't matter. Some of the stuff I dislike but every one to there own. Another thing that is great about this place is the lack of childish threads and posts as the Admin normally stamp any shit out fast. IMO the mods admin do a top job. As for the clicks from Found /OA I would say Offhand now has its core membership and they are now the click. I don't mean that in a bad way. Some on here clearly find SI/CP offensive and tiresome but they are high end labels that still sell so will be discussed on here along with many others. Accept that this is not a SPW free zone. Some members could be more welcoming IMO including myself along with many others. We all want this place so we all have to get along and be a little more tolerant of other tastes. I am going to sit in the away end and see what its like.
Thank you G, This a a place for like minded gentlemen to share and educate, not too exclude or dismiss because they have different origins, I dont get it, The tittle tackle sometimes on here really does astound me, It borders on racism, There is no clique at all here, everybody is given the chance to get involved, it just seems they are not always allowed the opportunity. Me and J met on foundNYC, prob just like a few did on CT and we were the ones who wanted to create something a little different, Is there anything wrong with that, there are some very clever and knowledgible people from both boards and i never got my head around the whole, Offhand is an exclusive club or somethnig. How pretentious, I would like to say one thing, There have not been any decisions made by Admin which have affected this board negatively. Its you the members comments and accusations which have brought it to the attention that things are wrong.
I dont think Ja the problem is underlying in the fact off other forums to some maybe i do have banter myself with one other forum but we all know who that is , from my understanding throught over 45 pm`s today with a lot of diffrent people (can i have an agony coloumn by the way) i have come to the understanding a few are not prepared to approach mods due to they seem scared it gets twisted and mods just stick together full stop......... but more to the point its the negativity comming from some low key and some new, who yes start with a clean slate but then seem to come on only to cause disrupt and anger towards other members by way of negative posts and yes i feel like when i get in some disputes it does happen its a forum... i feel others from the other forums seem to push me to feeling into the away end as i put it as they bring up such words as "over here" "over there you get" etc..... it really needs nipping in the bud because some off us here found this place for what it should be not to here kids with shitty no good for nothing comments it needs sorting out NOW ! I Joined here and loved it at 1st still do but the last few weeks have got really bad vibes from the negative postings and get a few members wound up

Right - this is what I think. The chaps who have joined here who like there clobber but had nothing to do with found/Nomad/Osti/TSS (what ever that is) can be made to feel excluded by the way in which people post. Being presumptious regards knowing who they are, where they have come from etc etc - and admin cant dismiss that as a fair few people have made there feelings known on this front, in this thread. I have not plucked it out of the air.
One simple enough way to go forward with this is to have a stock email in response to the requested email required of new members to introduce themselves to admin. The acceptance email could outline the aims and desires of this place, it's thinking and ethos and the fact it is not merely an extension of Found et al. It is something new and different, has lots of proactive members who have no experience of found etc etc.
Dissapointed to Read that members from Oa are being discussed by some in a negative light.. I have not seen this personally though.. They are not just Oa members but also OH members aswell..
I think some of you might find that members from Oa were some of the 1st members on here aswell at the start..
It's a big world out there and there is many forums and many clothing brands, they all have a place in my view..Be it SPW/cabourn or Albam etc etc, I do not see any issue of members being on multiple forums not Just Oa as i am sure there is many members on here that are on other forums aswell..We all like different clothing branmds and thats how it should be.
Some of you talk like you want SPW talk banned...lol....
I think ja and jonah have done a great job on here and off-hand seems to be taking off well and going from strength to strength and I appluade them for that as i know how hard it can be and how frustrating at time it is aswell.
All the lads are the same into there clobber / banter / football or whatever it may be..
Also I think you will find that Oa is not just SPW based, you can see that by looking at the marketplace and 2 of the busiest forums are trainer talk and other brand talk...That is also why the headers and everything where changed from Osti-archive to just Oa to try and not be pigeon holed into one bracket..
