I had one other week at our ground. £3.60 for Carlsberg. Originally got a pint, had one gulp, tasted like shit, argued with the bloke and got one in a bottle which tasted much better.
Normally drink in town, new bar opened, Fosters £1.80 a pint, K1664 £2.10 (bargain).
Quote by Maccathey banned beer at football in scotland after celtic won the scottish cup and their was violence between us and rangers, dont think it had anything to do with the fact their was beer served in the ground at the time to be honest but politicians had to look as if they where doing something to try and tackle the problem so they banned alcohol getting served in the ground, you can get it in the corporate boxes though which doesnt seem fair it should be all or none
I don't think it was either, Hibs used to have skips outside the ground for people emptys from their carry out though!
330ml bottles of Magners at £3.30 at Bramall Lane, no real ale
Currently trying to get them to get some real ale in, they could make a fair bit of money off me and my mate, problem is they don't do ale in plastic bottles
I refuse to buy any drink or food at Fulham.............they serve luke warm Carling in bottles for something ridiculous like £3.80 last time I looked.
Dirty old river, must you keep rolling, Flowing into the night.......
Quote by McMurdoWas talking to someone about this the other day, made me wonder, what fans get the best deal on booze both product and price. The powers that be down at Cardiff City serve us flat fucking fosters of all beer at £3.60 a pint with a plastic cup to add extra insult, I think the best I found elsewhere last season was at The New Den, Millwall. They served plastic bottles of Carlsberg for £3.10. Still hardly decent but better than most... then again a lot of clubs wont even serve us beer at all. Experiences?
I agree mate £3.60 is probably meaning they sell less beer now, fcuking stupid!!! I always have a pre-match beer though - Strongbow last night Wish I had 10 pints mind and not watched the game Beer is crap in most grounds but nice to get one is a plus for us at most stadiums, and for me combined with a bit of food then happy days!!! My most enjoyable was this at Boro away - chips and curry sauce with a pint and a win

Chelsea away
And a tidy pic at the home of football
that a pint of Singa, Jules? I'm sure the West London hospitality didn't leave you much change from a tenner for the pie/pint combo.
Nothing was worse than the Heineken years. I seen hardened drinkers who'd sup a warm can of Stella at 9am like it was amber nectar refuse a half-time pint of Heineken at SB. the best was Coors in the mid 90s
"The nightmares invading the sleep of Bayern fans involve four horsemen of the Champions League Apocalypse riding towards them. As the faces come into focus, they will recognise Frank Lampard, Cole, Petr Cech and Drogba. All were immense..."
It's around £3 for a plastic bottle of Carlsberg. This time last year though they did 2 bottles for £3, that was excellent. The pies are rubbish now too, they sling em in the microwave with the packaging intact..

The Ninian Park Pub does a two pint glass of Stella now, aim of the game is neck as many of them before hand as possible. Plastic glass or not. Still, you only get bloated and have your thirst re-quenched by half time, ready to throw away more money on a £3.60 pint of piss! Find drinking at home games an all round fail most days. Prefer finding a good pub before aways, hell of a state...
Nice Metropolis by the way! I'm not jealous one bit...

They were knocking out Smooth at £2.50 a pint on Tuesday to apologise for the poor service at the weekend!
I go for the Carling bottle as it's bigger and the same price. Remember when they were serving that Blades Berry Cider? Was very sweet and very easy to drink, I think it was mixed in the changing room bath or something. Used to send me loopy

Thinking of a weekender this season, do a Wxm home game then a trip to Snowdon. Plastic bottled Carlsberg is quite good in football ground terms (atleast it has some fizz) ala Millwall.

Sounds a good weekend that one mate. Done snowdon a few times, let me know what game you go to if you do decide to come up, £2 a pint in the pub connected to the ground, happy days.
