Was talking to someone about this the other day, made me wonder, what fans get the best deal on booze both product and price. The powers that be down at Cardiff City serve us flat fucking fosters of all beer at £3.60 a pint with a plastic cup to add extra insult, I think the best I found elsewhere last season was at The New Den, Millwall. They served plastic bottles of Carlsberg for £3.10. Still hardly decent but better than most... then again a lot of clubs wont even serve us beer at all. Experiences?

but on the upside you can buy a pie with hendersons relish on if your stomachs not bound up from the shit tackle you've just bought down the earl of arundal....

When I was in Valencia last year me and my mate had 2 pints in the first half then another 2 in the second half and we thought we felt a little drunk, turns out that it was alcohol free, talk about a placebo effect.

went to england vs holland at the ajax stadium, they made us buy some kind of points card before we could get a drink which you had to stick a minimum of 10 euros on, then after all that got to the counter and it was all non alcoholic!
A prime example of why we should stay out of europe.

Went to an ale festival in Cardiff the other week, had to get a minimum of £10 in vouchers, got a free glass too, as I was under 30 I also got £3 of free vouchers. Walked in and everything was sold out! Bar some ciders and an ale called 'Black Dog' for 50 pence, so two glasses of the dog down and we thought, f*ck it, headed for the exits, sold them our glasses back for £1.50, traded in our vouchers for the cash. Left £3.50 up with two free pints!
Hartlepool its carling and john smiths for a nicely priced £2.50. Dont like smiths so never had it, but the lagers canny. Not sure if away end has facilities though
Not even to home fans? They must be losing out on a shedload of revenue surely.
I often think if folks could have a bevvy it might attract a few more fans who (quite rightly) are pissed off with how poorly the Scottish game has been run. Having said that for a lot the game is the only break they get in an all day session, be carnage at some games if people could get pissed inside.
they banned beer at football in scotland after celtic won the scottish cup and their was violence between us and rangers, dont think it had anything to do with the fact their was beer served in the ground at the time to be honest but politicians had to look as if they where doing something to try and tackle the problem so they banned alcohol getting served in the ground, you can get it in the corporate boxes though which doesnt seem fair it should be all or none

You can only get alcohol before and after the game, no alcohol is served during the match or at half time.
