Ive been stopped about 4 month now and recently the craving has been getting worse..thought it would get easier wi time...im fine tae im drinking,like i am now..could right go a smoke......any other ex smokers still get the craving?

it never goes away unfortunately, i stopped for 3 years and ended up starting again after a particularly heavy night on the stella

it never goes away unfortunately, i stopped for 3 years and ended up starting again after a particularly heavy night on the stella
whit? never...thats goin tae be difficult,i still enjoyed it but stopped cos it was too exspensive.,are you still smoking now then?...im quite good wi will power but if i get wrecked(and i drink stella as well) then you never know..

i dont thtink i would be too bad now because there is no smoking in the pubs anymore but i like the patter outside the pub so i would probably end up out there anyway

I smoke , down to about 10 a day now , worse when i am pissed no doubt, problem is I enjoy smoking especially while drinking alcohol or coffee ....My view is , yeah there is a good chance of it killing me , but if you could be a fitness fanatic and drop dead with a heart attack , so fuck it , what gets me is non smokers taking the moral high ground, my mate andy does not smoke , and he loves telling me this, but i remind him that he is a fat fuck who could not run the length of himself and has the worst diet know to man ...so he will prob be dead before me .

Question to smokers, if a doctor said to you if you have one more fag you will die could you stop smoking?
I guess you drink? Alcohol is a bigger killer than tabs by a long chalk.
I used to drink heavily, but now drink in moderation. I also give up for 3 months a year. But thats not the question was it? If someone said to me the same thing about drinking, I could stop like that. What i was getting at by asking the question was how smokers who say how hard it is to stop/they just can't do it etc. If their life depended on it could they stop just like that? If the answer is yes, then they should be able to stop as their life expectancy does depend on it.
And I'll just add as I take it by mentioning alcohol, you were thinking that I was having a go at smokers, that I couldn't give a fuck about whether people smoke or not. I'm all for free choice, but if you choose to smoke don't bleat on about how you can't give up (and thats not a knock at you Moxey). Make your choice and get on with it.
