Biggest example of that was Matthew Kelly was arrested after they said that he had messed about with wee lads.

thing is , even if totally exonorated , mud will stick , and there is always that thought in the back of your mind ' Is he Guilty ? ' must be a terrible thing to be wrongly acused of ....
Seriously though, why are the press allowed to publish stories like this about a currently completely innocent man (in the eyes of the law). Where is the public interest?

I haven't read any of the articles but the press have probably said he is being questioned, i doubt very much they have actually said he has done it and it is the public that are making their own conclusions. We all know readers of these kinds of stories love to get angry at every opportunity.
