Ive got tattoo's on both sides of my neck and hands......... read through posts on here about jeremy kyle etc.....typical don't judge books by there covers and all that! It was a part of my life and a era i went through. Would i change them, honestly yes. would i now like to be tattoo free yes i would, but i have to live with it. Now being in senior management for a company that employes 40,000 people i love the look on people's faces when i walk into management meetings etc.Not what they expected, they can also judge as much as they like at the end of the day ive made my life what it is and im very priviliged and proud. morgage free in 4 years, married 2 kids, holidays every year, a newish car, clobber in the waredrobe, decebt salary, never scrounged of the social always paid my way do i give a fuck what people think of me with tattoos on my neck....DO I FUCK!
Live life to the full and enjoy, try and help people who havn't got as much as you, you never know what tomorrow will bring!!!!

truth is i think most would change or remove there tats.... funny i was thinking yesterday about getting the bairns name between my thumb and forefinger ........i know if i could start again i would have nowt but a full back piece
thinking someone's tattoo looks soft is no more discriminatory than thinking their shoes are shit. only they can get new shoes. I'm not arsed what people do but, for me, tattoos look generally terrible, moreso on men.
people always pre-judge though , simple fact of life .. I have Staffies , soft as shit , but people always pull their kids or dogs away .. it just happens in life all the time , however hard we try not to ...

i had an english bull and people used to cross the road mate and he was also soft as clarts agree with the pre judge bit but tattos are more or less mainstream now so dont think theres much stigma these days face and neck might be the exception tho
Go for it steve. Id love to get a neck tattoo myself. I think if you really want one when you should. Other peoples opinions should never sway your decisions in anything in life. If people are going to judge you by a bit of ink then they are the narrow minded type of person not worth knowing imo.
is a big decision ... not swayed in anyway by people's opinions , but am interested in what they think ... missus happy with it , which is the most important view ...
It's your body, do as you wish Steve, if it's what you want. It's the same with clothes, you only like what you feel good/comfortable in. I have a few tattoos, although i always avoid places like my hands/neck, don't like things I cant hide in certain situations. Have afew mates with their necks done, they love it, thats why they got it done. Personal taste and all that.
