Quote by WhiteyThere was a boycott for the game last night, over ticket prices, A few thousand stayed away but Chelsea got scared and offered rows of 10 seats a go to youth clubs. Plus they increased loyalty points to the maximum 8, radio advertising and still only managed 38k.
well put. that's it in a nutshell. And the same hawking of tickets will happen repeatedly at any new stadium. The club hierarchy is a pisstake at times. Extravagantly increase Euro ticket prices whilst offering us our £100 back for the CPO share. Laughable.
and in relation to hearing a pin drop, the bridge is no different than Old trafford and Emirates when it comes to quiet home support. Liverpool going the same way as well. We all know why it is so shouldn't be a surprise. in some respects, its much worse when you can hear a pin drop when there's 75k in the stadium....
our away support though is very noisy , one reason we tend to only go to away games ..
In my experience chelsea and united both have good away supports. Arsenals is utter pony.

"Liverpool going the same way as well". Anfield is just as bad as anywhere and has been for years.
40,000 or 76,000, it doesn't really matter. The fact is that football as we knew it is dead and grounds are now full of a different kind of individual up and down the country.
