Theres a big 'Come on you Irons' banner behind one of Marseille goals and also spotted a few West Ham bits in there. Anyone know what thats about? Just out of curiosity.
marseille have always had a soft spot for WHUFC. Whufc = working class football club = beginning of the skinhead era and one of their main man loves that. Cunts at the highest degree btw.
Marseille, a dog shit ridden city full of knife weilding arabs and aggressive old bill. The harbour is nice but surrounding that, high rise tower blocks blasting out french hip hop. Lovely ground though, proper european terraces. More like a prison. Get treated like a prisoner too.
There was a boycott for the game last night, over ticket prices, A few thousand stayed away but Chelsea got scared and offered rows of 10 seats a go to youth clubs. Plus they increased loyalty points to the maximum 8, radio advertising and still only managed 38k.

well put. that's it in a nutshell. And the same hawking of tickets will happen repeatedly at any new stadium. The club hierarchy is a pisstake at times. Extravagantly increase Euro ticket prices whilst offering us our £100 back for the CPO share. Laughable.
and in relation to hearing a pin drop, the bridge is no different than Old trafford and Emirates when it comes to quiet home support. Liverpool going the same way as well. We all know why it is so shouldn't be a surprise. in some respects, its much worse when you can hear a pin drop when there's 75k in the stadium....
"The nightmares invading the sleep of Bayern fans involve four horsemen of the Champions League Apocalypse riding towards them. As the faces come into focus, they will recognise Frank Lampard, Cole, Petr Cech and Drogba. All were immense..."
Loyalty points given in each game for members , each game given different value , so big games like Utd you may only get 1 point , Bolton a less attractive game 3 , more points you get helps later in the season for Cup quarters / semis / finals , to get a ticket ...
Quote by JENTLEMANSorry to jump on this thread Whitey but what's the "loyalty points" system you're talking about?
nice blog you run btw ;)
it's to determine the priority order for option to buy tickets for big games e.g. Man Utd, Liverpool, etc.... Members with X number of loyalty points can purchase first. Then, if not sold out, the points requirement drops and more members with less points can buy, etc...etc....each game is allocated a number of points. Big games at home are generally 1 point because everyone wants those. Lesser games or trickier games to get to are higher points allocated e.g. carling cup, some euro games, aways, etc...

our away support though is very noisy , one reason we tend to only go to away games ..
Thanks for your clear reply RamseesCFC ! Do all premier league clubs have such a system which is thankfully not set up on the continent as far as I know??
