Well why don't you think about what you've just repeated from something you once read and liked ?
My opinion is simple fella in regards to that silly paragraph you've cut and pasted from somewhere about how not to hate one person or rejoice the death of one, which is a really nice outlook on life but in reality and in the real world when the likes of Hitler, Hussain, Laden and Gadaffi etc have ruined a rediculous amount of lives for such a long time it doesn't come into play, not that you have thought about all that ? but if it doesn't directly affect you then you probably wouldn't, you will just keep making these silly phrases like "rest in peace sweet prince" which is why I commented on either your age or your mentality. But like I said you have probably not thought about the endless families touched by gadaffi or by his orders from his men that raped, murdered, stole and did whatever they wanted regardless of sex or age, but you crack on with the rest in peace bollocks and don't be suprised when your pulled up on it, ok ?

Bang on there mate. its a shame we never showed the same help to our own people who Magabe was killing ,but the again there is no oil there[/quote
Nothing to do with oil in my opinion. A British army invading an african nation would just be seen as colonialism. "The white man is coming to enslave us again"!!! We'd be on a hiding to nothing and his popularity would go through the roof, regardless of what he has done. The Africans should sort him out. The fact that their leaders have'nt, speaks volumes for the value they place on their neighbours lives.

The "rest in peace, sweet prince" comment was clearly tongue in cheek and very much centered around irony, I wouldn't have thought anyone would have taken that seriously, let alone being "pulled up on it". If I recall correctly, I made the same comment regarding the child rapist who was butchered in prison - once again, clearly not a comment to be taken seriously, anyone with an ounce of intelligence would recognise this.
Just because I do not believe that one should rejoice in the death of another does not mean that I do not recognise the evil in the above individuals and the misery they have caused to millions of people. Indeed I recognise why many would celebrate the death of such an individual. However, celebrating their death will achieve nothing. Just look at when Osama died; people were on the streets in the United States in their droves celebrating… It caused nothing but further loss of life, with increases in attacks in countries where there was support for Osama - hence hate multiplying hate. Makes sense.

You don't make any sense, again you said yourself how you said the same when a child rapist was butchered in prison, just braindead comments.
I don't profess to know much about politics , but the time I spent working in Africa gives a real insight to how things are run in some African countries , how the profits are divided between close knit followers , and high up Military personel to keep them sweet , when the rest of the population live in squalar & poverty , and in truth it's shocking . An ounce of Oil in Zimbabwe , and Mugabe's head would be on a stick . It sickens me the way we claim to keep the World rid of Dictators , protect the innocent , yet the atrocities go on ...

It seems that it is the definition of irony you are struggling with... Look it up!

Think you'll find Libya is in Africa ..
Sorry, I was talking more of the black african nations supported by the ANC. Although one of the reasons Mugabe was able to hold on for so long was because of mercenaries, from a number of black african nations. Libya is a nice place. I've been. Some of the best preserved roman ruins in the world. I did'nt feel the need to underline anything.
Quote by STEVECFCsorry , wasn't being an arse mate , but Africa on the whole is a very corrupt place , where the common man always suffers ..
Agreed. They suffer if they have oil or not. Jacob Zuma is the main man amongst the black africans. He is a very good friend of Mugabe. While this twat is giving support to Mugabe , Zimbabwe will be fucked.. Idi Amin was the ruler of Uganda. It took another black african nation to remove him. Same will go for Mugabe unless he dies of the senile dementia, that he has been showing signs of for a few years now.
Quote by The IndividualI'm not arguing with you on a message board Alex but you need a reality check on your comments.
Surely the essence of such message boards is to debate such topics.
As stated; the "rest in peace, sweet prince" comment was clearly tongue in cheek and very much centered around irony, I wouldn't have thought anyone would have taken that seriously, let alone being "pulled up on it". If I recall correctly, I made the same comment regarding the child rapist who was butchered in prison - once again, clearly not a comment to be taken seriously, anyone with an ounce of intelligence would recognise this. In this respect, based on your reaction to this, it would appear that you do not fully comprehend the definition of irony. The "rest in peace, sweet prince" comments made were expressly and intentionally the opposite to what would typically be expected, for the purposes of causing wry amusement. Hence, I did not really believe that a convicted paedophile or a mass murdering dictator were truly a "sweet prince". I don't mean to sound condesending, but when you are rolling around calling people an "idiotic", yet you cannot differentiate between a serious comment and one that is made in jest, then it is to be expected.
As I said; just because I do not believe that one should rejoice in the death of another does not mean that I do not recognise the evil in the above individuals and the misery they have caused to millions of people. This appears to be a logical train of thought and not one which centres around the need for a reality check. Perhaps throwing about seemingly unfounded childish insults on a message board calls for some sort of "reality check".
