Ibiza is very expensive for young people! I think there more older persons......... You must paid 50 euro for come in a a lot of clubs! Well, you see the best international dj's ofcourse.
So i have some tips for you where is was!
2008: Blanes - Spain. More fore 16-17 years persons.......
2009: Chersonissos - Creta - Greec. Very very amazing place for young people! Star Beach is the place to be in the afternoon for swimming and party's. Armin van Buren was there also! In the evening on the boulevard nice clubs with good music and good atmosphere.........
2010: Sunny Beach - Bulgaria. Couple years ago was everything cheap on ther. But now only the food is cheap! For drinks the normal holiday price, mate! How more people come there each year, how more expensive it becomes! Party's are very good there. Club, Den Glade Viking, Iceburg and some Irish Pubs are superb! Naked grazy girls dancing on the bar ( also 18-19-20-21-22 etc etc years old ) Al lot of Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, English, Irish, Dutch, German woman there
Be carefull (!) Walk not alone after the party's, but with a group friends at the boulevard! Bulgarian people will beat you if you walk alone! And you everything lost.......... No police there! Fuckin Bulgarian people.
Last summer i was in Albufeira - Portugal. I think my best holiday ever, mate!!!!! Cracking place The Strip ( boulevard ) is the place to be in the evening! Very busy and sooooooooooooo much UK persons. English, Scottish, Irish, Welsh.......... Amazing!!! I dont believe my eyes so much! Albufeira is for young and old. You have also Old Town Albufeira with soms bars! Great culture there. The bars and clubs at The Strip, are very good, and grazy evening's i has! Also a lot of Dutch people there. Food & drinking is not expensive, but very well! For a appartement look, Vilanova Resort! Great grass place, and a big swimming pool! Lot of UK, Dutch, and Spanish reserve there!

Ibiza if you've got the money, could easily do 2k in a week there though. For a cheaper option you cant go wrong with eastern europe, prague, krakow, sofia all cheap as chips and a good booze up if you keep your wits about you.

Went to Playa Del Ingles years ago with the lads, never again, absolute shit hole. In saying that I'm not much of a resort holiday fan, heard Ios is quality though. Popular with the posh kids from here and the Swedes
Didn't like it when I went there. Absolutely beautiful place, although rammed with Italians, and rip-off central. Music was solely Black-Eyed Peas type guff. This was 5 years ago but can't see it's changed. Went as part of a hop through six islands.. Naxos was the best but it's not what the OP is looking for.
I'm going belfast next year with a few mates, simply because its cheap as chips to get over there and i can stay with family, and hopefully maga or malia on top of that.
If you want to avoid places heaving with bright pink, pot bellied, louts or pissed up students with wildly fluctuating testosterone levels, then why not try Kos Town? It's a really smart upmarket harbour resort with great shops, restaurants and bars. Bit too metropolitan for the Brits, they all mostly fuck off to kardemena a couple hours drive away, i stayed in Kos town for 2 weeks and had a great time, we went to kardemena for the day to see what it was about, and it was like something out of resident evil, angry looking chaps in Leeds shirts staggering about throwing up at 3 in the afternoon.

I thought malia was a bit like this the strip with everybody getting pissed and the old town with a few more relaxed bars and nice restaurants. They were right next to each other but a very different vibe.
Got off the plane at 1am when we got to Napa and we went to a few bars then ended up in River Reggae. Wasn't too pissed when I got there. Looked at the water and felt ill.
None of the other destinations mentioned come anywhere near Ibiza.
I have done Magaluf, Marmaris and A.Napa, all ok places to go with a group of lads - shit bars, shit clubs, shit music, shitheads, drink, sun and slags. That's what you get. All these places are six and half a dozen - Malia, Kavos, Tenneriffe etc etc.
Ibiza is phenomenal. Been the last 6 years, back next year without a doubt. As people have been saying, it can be expensive, but it is only as expensive as you make it. Only an idiot would spunk £2k in a week. The only expensive thing is the clubs - expect to pay 30-70 Euros for a ticket for the clubs. Expensive; but you are paying to see the greatest DJs in the world in the greatest clubs in the world. The drinks in these clubs are also ridiculously expensive - as much as 20 Euros for a beer. I would never pay that. If drugs are your thing, they are easily available cheaper than what you pay here and usually better quality than what you get here. If drugs aren't your thing, just get suitably hammered at a bar before - generally bars aren't expensive. There are always loads of secret parties round the island, which are usually free and much better night than in a club anyway. If you are with your mates, San Antonio is probably the best bet - this area is just what you would get in Magaluf, A.Napa, Malia etc. All British pissed up meatheads, slags etc. Personally I would steer well clear - worst part of the island for me. But as I say, it is what you want on a lads holiday.
Another good alternative is to do Sonar Festival in Barcelona. Did it this year... Something else.

Can vouch for that. Done it in 2010 and it was unreal, great buzz about the city while it's on too. Also worth looking at is the Festival San Juan which is some religious festival that falls the week after Sonar, supposed to be unreal, big street parties and free raves on the beaches around Barcelona
