just from the lads holiday thing, might be an idea to put a few up. lisbon is fantastic if you want somewhere a bit different. beautiful city, ace people, ace beer. 2 hour flight. all good
Berlin is possibly my favourite city after London and Edinburgh - dead easy to get to, very cheap, stunning architecture, some of the best clubs and bars I've ever been to and a sense that there's still some of the city to be explored. I've not been anywhere with such a high concentration of very good museums either.

I was in Lisbon in Febuary was brilliant spent a few days down at the water side under the Abril Bridge looking across at the Cristo-Rei drinking Super Bock.
Antwerp is lovely, been there with the bird. Would definitely recommend it. Wanting to visit Tel Aviv in Israel now, the city itself is supposed to be lovely and the clubs seem to be very very decent.
I enjoy city breaks in the Uk, Like going to new parts of the country, Last one was Food festival weekend in Ludlow, some lovely food, Me and the missus tend to rent little cottages in the middle of nowhere for the weekend, or used to travel around for nights out when Dj were playing and make a weekend of it. Would like to do parts of Italy and Germany for 3/4 days, Some of the deals now are cracking, Closer to home spent a lot of time going to various parts of Spain, We use www.Ownersdirect a lot, She has got a lovely villa lined up in Lora Del Rio for a few days in the hills, Southern Spain.
I would take a city break over a week in a resort any day. Not gonna happen much though becuase the missues refuses to go anywhere thats less than 40 degrees where she can lye on a sunlounger for a week til she looks like ghandi.
My favorites citys ive been too are naples, rotterdam, hamburg and bruges.
Heard loads of good storys about the usuals, Barcelona, Madrid, Rome, Milan etc but people always follow good comments up with how dear they are......When i ever get the chance i think ill steer clear of the big cities and go for the less talked about ones, You'd surely save a fair few quid, and have other stories to tell other than the usuals.

The city is not that beautiful, but there are loads of houses in the Bauhaus style which i really liked. You can definitely have great night out there, i only visited two clubs but there are many more ... and the israeli girls are very open minded
