Totally agree with wadey,we have got to get back to normality or when will this ever end?? Appreciate the reasons but it seems like we are going backwards and tbh its doing my fuckin head in.the words mask,covid and social distance drive me fuckin mental now and like i say we need normal or we will never move on imo. Worked all the way through it and for that I'm grateful,apparently we are critical workers which is a bit of a piss take when you have doctors and nurses doing what they do,but like i say very grateful not to be out of work or furloughed,and all the poor sods who have lost their jobs,if we shut pubs/restaurants again even more will be laid off.

Ive been working 13/14 hour shifts since this shite started. 4/5 over 7.... canny moan.. plenty of dough tae spend on shite that probably be like a fucking morlock by the time it see’s daylight....... mother-in-law missed out in a care home place due to the lockdown,, best place for her as she has dementia , to be honest... poor woman only had her man tae do her hair, they had tae isolate due tae their age.. every time I seen her she resembled fucking Hitler..... but without the panache....she’s in a home now,, no doubt with a fabulous golden girls perm....

Am bored with it now, there’s no right answer until a vacation is found tho, we can’t let it go because it’s gona kill too many, I know a critical care nurse that works local she said there starting to fill up again and there’s already a few on ventilators that might not make it. Am working av done nearly 4 months furlough av enjoyed it, weird feeling not needing to know what time it was or even what day it was, got canny fit done a few diy projects that I would never of got round too..and got paid for it 😎
You’re making me jealous, most of my mates were off but they were on the piss and in the end they were bored and dying to get back to work - I ended up forking out 7grand to get the garden tidied up, new paths and a fence I could have dOne some of that myself if I wasn’t so busy.
A made the most of it cycling two three times a week Full day rides, walked along the park every other morning cricket football, Can’t say I missed work at any point

Last thing I read about it said 80% of recent positive tests were a symptomatic- probably because more young folk are getting it now and they’re less affected by it.
I'm bored of it. No celebration party for promotion worked all through it. Covid test every week.had the anti body one and they said I fucked it and can't do another one. Missus lost her job, so pretty shite really. Not complaining though, plenty of people have died, at least my family are all safe and well..

Sorry to here about your Mrs but like you say, your still here.
The company next door to us went on furlough as soon as it was announced. I was talking to a guy who worked there a week before and he was saying how busy they were. Anyway when they came back redundancies were announced as the work had fallen. Seems like the owner took advantage of the scheme, well its gonna cost him, a lot of his customers have gone elsewhere as he couldn't supply.
