Boris looked like a broken man last night, up here it’s dropped now the students have calmed down, would of liked them to give it longer with the tier system , too much emphasis on Christmas, hospitals are starting to get full tho so is there an alternative? Scott the next buzz words are, allowed if there in your Christmas “baubles” 😆

S you've done a good job of summing up my feelings. No plan to ever come out of lock down. A virus with 99% recovery being prioritised over cancer treatment.... businesses being thrown to the wolves. Millions looking at pay offs.... and the World Economic Forum just happening to be talking about The Great Reset.... If someone this time last year had suggested the way to stop the cold circulating was to stop people getting it they'd have been laughed out. But that appears the strategy here....
"The nightmares invading the sleep of Bayern fans involve four horsemen of the Champions League Apocalypse riding towards them. As the faces come into focus, they will recognise Frank Lampard, Cole, Petr Cech and Drogba. All were immense..."
I know about 8 folk with it, two of them were hospitalised, half of them are still knackered and breathless weeks later (most are pensioners but my mate is still toiling)
My local hospital wishaw general is at 90% capacity fir COVID patients. I know an a&e nurse in that same hospital and she says they’re under pressure the staff are stressed and knackered.
Glasgow Royal has just closed the plastics ward amongst others and moved staff around to create more capacity for COVID patients. My wife knows nurses there and they’re the same: knackered stressed demoralised.
The NHS will struggle more throughout the winter and besides capacity one of the other risks is staff shortages as they get sick or burn out through stress.
Bearing in mind there’s been a load of nurses died from this disease.
So what’s the answer then because the number of patients being admitted is worse now than at the start of this?
The plan always included more lockdown to reduce the numbers when they spike so as much as we don’t like it we just need to get on with it.
