British Justice at its finniest. Reasonable doubt thrown out of the window then?

Politically motivated and in no way a fair trial. The media had found these 2 men guilty 18 years ago, the government had to abolish a law to get the verdict they wanted!

I wonder if the media and the police will re-open the case for Gavin Hopley who was kicked to death on the streets of Oldham almost as long ago.

What is disgraceful is the way the trial has been handled, as I said all this farce was, was a politically motivated show trial.

Dobson and Norris are no saints don't get me wrong, But this is British Justice at its worst.

The 'Double Jeopardy' law was an out-dated piece of junk anyway and needed changing. The fact that police incompetence and a lack of interest in the Lawrence case from the Met had not allowed justice to prevail in the first place was British justice at its worst.

How can you honestly believe that this trial was fair and justice was indeed done?

Everyone has heard about the Stephen Lawrence murder through the media which convicted these two before the trial took place so the jury were probably holding preformed/prejudicial opinions about the case. These two were never going to get a fair trial in England and we'll see appeals within the year.

The chance of cross contamination and the fact that the seals on the evidence bags weren't 100% secure would cast reasonable doubt on the newly found evidence, imo.

Yes, the double jeopardy law was out dated and since being abolished it has lead to successful convictions but since its abloshing rightly or wrongly the Daily Mail ran a campaign against the two men in question.

All I am saying is that I believe there is reasonable doubt and that this trial was not fair.
