Quote by get the beer inShocking refereeing in the first game, if that's a sign of things to come I can see Stevie G getting sent off for his first two footed 'challenge'.
Definitely. That refereering was a real shame for an opener at a level like the euros! Been an entertaining game though, especially the second half.

This will be a good opportunity for people to see what Celtic fans have to put up with.
He can pull off a great touch or skin someone, this gives him the confidence to keep running but he doesn't go anywhere just further and further away till he is dispossessed or makes a shite pass. Watch for him drifting out of position too, if he's told to play up front he'll try and play left mid and vice versa.
I'm hoping he proves me wrong, has the best tournament of his life and fucks clean off away from Celtic.

I may be biased but I actually thought he was ok first half, only real players to offer Greece an outlet and hold the ball up. His shooting was woeful 2nd half, but he tracked back well and covered for that atrocious left back. In fairness to the big guy, he never hides, despite being pretty poor in front of goal. I certainly think there was a lot worse players out there.
Seedorf spot on in his analysis, Dutch too relaxed and didn't have the right tempo. Didn't need both De Jong and Van Bommel but was still surprised at the lack of urgency towards the end with Huntelaar and VDV on. Denmark played well but very limited team.
Quote by RVP's Left FootRussia looked decent for first game. Arshavin looked back to somewhere near his best.
looks like you signed his rubbish twin brother by mistake Dave.
think zee Germans are winners elect but this should be a good game.

Think hes still an Arsenal player at the moment G. Hope he does well and AW takes him back and plays him in his prefered position. For the Russians hes the main man and he runs the show. On his game one of the best in Premiership in his position when he can be arsed.
Well, I tell them there's no problem Only solutions

No doubt he looks a player when he plays. What you reckon on podolski ? I like him.
