I'm still not convinced by the Portuguese, reckon a better side would cause their center halves real problems. Ronaldo was superb tonight though, his running for the second was breathtaking. As for the dutch, hard to see why they were so fancied! One of the most disjointed sides I've seen in a while. Germany looked good in the highlights - workmanlike and very disciplined.
Got italy to beat ireland and italy -1 tomorrow. I know the Irish will be up for it but the Italians need goals if they're to go through. 3-0 the azzurri.

Not just at the back, thought the center forward they bought on to replace Postiga was one of the worst players I've seen this tournament. Need to sort their shooting out too, the ball went into row z on a good 3/4 occassions. Ronaldo was superb though.
they've got several pretty good players - moutinho's one - but as a team i think they're very iffy. the defending for ronaldo's goal, where he walked on to the header, was a sight to behold form the czechs (or croats, i keep mixing them up)
Was writting my best reasons to like this portuguese side. Why I have a soft touch for them. My arguments were really smart but lost everything I was writing as I needed to re-identify with my nickname/pass... You are missing a very smart post :)
PS: French team is a shame btw (and really looking forward to watching Spain/Portugal...)
