Decided to go abroad this year for the first time in 10 years
i am quite happy to holiday in this counrty but the missus has put her foot down and has had enough
of the weather. I have done a lot of travelling around the world in my life time and i still think Britain
is defnitely one of the prettiest but the missus looks at me like i am mad. so we have narrowed it down to Menorca so does anyone know any good places to go for 2 adults and 2 energetic boys aged 6 and 10 . All inclusive is an option but due to the Euro people are saying it might work out cheaper self catering.

Porta Pollenca in Mallorca is a nice, family friendly place.. been there before, sounds like what you'd be after.

That said, you should be able to find similar in Menorca.

Calan bosch , built around a nice marina , water park is a walk away , go cart track next to it , nice beaches , full of families . Ideal for you , i went when my 2 kids when they were the same age casas del lago appartments we went to , over look the marina and just across the road is a cracking beach . I even ended up having my photo taken for the next years brochure !!! i made sure my stomach was under the water before they took it tho

Best beaches are at cala galdana and cala n'porter. Both nice resorts, quiet island tho in general great for relaxing. Hire a car it's the easiest place I've ever drove abroad easy to get anywhere.

Cala galdana is a nice beach, they filmed the bounty advert, where the lass is walking out of the sea eating a bounty there., but ,if you want to stay there in an apartment they all seem to be at the top of the hill ! and it is a HILL !! not good with young kids .

With 2 kids I'd definitely go for the all inclusive option - all those plates of chips and glasses of Coke add up.

Been there twice and was good. You can get the local bus to Ciutadella when the markets are on and Cala Bosch is good. There is a big bouncy castle at the end of the marina which the kids will love.
