On my 3rd Dennis Lehane book in as many weeks - Mystic river. Bit heavier than the previous two I've read The Given Day & Moonlight Mile but still pretty good.
I tell you the worst book I've ever read- Powder by Kevin Sampson. Thinly veiled rehashing of mildly interesting rock'n'roll anecdotes (he used to manage The Farm you know zzzzz).
Pointless plot, characters you don't care about, and shagging that didn't even raise a smile. 1/10. They're making into a film too, God help us.

The book about Robert Enke the German goalkeeper who committed suicide a couple years back is meant to be excellent.
I am looking for Final Truth: Autobiography of a Serial Killer ,Autobiography of serial killer "Pee Wee" Gaskins , ment to be really good but a bit disturbing , cheapest I can find it is £40 odd from amazon , anyone know where I could find it cheaper, tried the bay with no luck
