Alright lads, some of you may have noticed (or maybe not) that i havent been posting over the last month or so. Unfortunatley one of my best friends Tom was stabbed to death on a night out at the start of last month, sure a few of the other midlands lads would have seen it on the news. Never easy losing a mate but for it to happen this way and at only 23 just doesnt seem right at all. Still doesnt seem real yet but trying to get back to as normal as possible so will hopefully be posting again from now.
The main reason for this thread though is some of Toms friends and family have started a couple of different petitions to do with knife crime. One is an e-petition and can be found on the link below so if everybody could have a look and sign it it would really be appreciated.
There is also another written petition that has been made for a different cause to the one above which i have copys and the template for. If anyone thinks they might be able to get any of these filled in for me whether it be through friends/family or work etc drop me a PM and i can either send the copies out to you or send you the template over. Bloody hell mate, thoughts are with you my old pal. Know how hard it is I lost my best pal 10 years ago and not a day goes by without me thinking of him. Anytime coops give me a call mate

Jees my man it's a cruel place this world sometimes and something I despise is people carrying knives, and the worst thing is they fully feel they have too use it, its no longer about protection. So sorry to hear this and hope you can somewhat come to terms with the loss, awful losing anybody including a close friend. Take care pal.
sorry to hear this mate .. when I was working the door at a rave near Cambridge , I was stabbed , the guy tried to stab me in the back , a co-worker shouted just before he stabbed me , and as I turned sideways the knife sliced my inside arm .. I had nearly 20 stitches , and have a terrible scar .. though could have been so much worse for me .. I find people who carry and use knives very cowardly .. My thoughts go out to you , and especially his family ..

Unfortunatley not S mate, happened just over 5 weeks ago now and so far 5 people have been pulled in for it but all released on bail but no more news over the last couple of weeks. Seems quite a long time to not have anyone for it yet with something like this but just got to hope someone slips up and they get the coward who did it.

Sorry for your loss mate. I hope this petition will do some good in light of such a tragic incident. I have signed the petition.
One of my best mates got assaulted a few weeks back - totally unprovoked and got smacked from the side (he never saw him coming). Since it happened I've found out that the lad that did it, had a knife on him too that night. So I'm thankful a similar incident didn't occur.
Was gonna drop you a PM as soon as it happened but never did, unsure how you'd take to it, I went to Uberra on the first night by the promotions company who organised this one, I predicted something like this would happen, but obviously no action can be taken against somewhere until such an event occurs. It was full of right sorts, remember at about 5am one bloke getting a Moet bottle wrapped around his head and the dancefloor scattering. Was asked to go on the night this happened too. Hate to know stuff like this happens in the towns i go out in, Terrible, terrible news.
