Quote: Vasque wrote in post #17Well done West Brom, hope you enjoyed it T, it could and should have been five or six.
Well happy with the result mate, as you say could of so easily been six. 12 more wins and a draw and we're safe.
To be fair you're making a habit of turning over the so-called big boys. I seem to remember you sorting out an outfit from West London last season.
hence my faith they'd do the scousers yday with Clarkey at the helm....
You must be pleased with how Chelsea have started, Hazard took a long time to settle eh?
Aye he done well considering he was flattened early on too in a shocker tackle but didn't put him out of the game. It'll be a season where our best chance will be cups again just simply because RDM will be under pressure to deliver attacking football but Tbh am lookin forward to seeing us play with pace in the side. ANd delighted with young bertrand. PRoves players are there that don't cost the sun ANd moon you must be hopeful for the season mate? cleverly, kagawa and rvp to come in, vidic back...gonna be the team that finishes above you will be champs

Yeah I reckon Chelsea, United and City will all be there or thereabouts but I make City slight favourites. I'm not sure Mancini has finished shopping yet neither, rumours that De Rossi is on his way and he will make them even better.
Totally shocked about RVP, will be weird seeing him in a United shirt but if he stays fit he could thrive with what's around him. Love what I've seen of Kagawa but I wonder if Fergie would have signed him if he knew RVP was going to sign? Kagawa was bought because of what he does behind the striker and yet you'd now think Fergie would want Rooney playing behind RVP? Obviously great to have quality in depth but United are screaming out for a bit of quality in the middle so to sign two attacking players before addressing midfield surprised me. Maybe Fergie has someone in mind. He seems allergic to signing midfielders, not surprising really because for all his greatness he doesn't have a great record when it comes to buying midfield players.
most seem to think the midfield is where you need someone. Kagawa looked good in clips I've saw. the thing with City is the competing on both fronts. If Mancini is under pressure to deliver a decent run in Europe, that could skew things a bit even though they've a good squad. But you're probably right....slight favourites and they'll spend again, especially after Agueros injury yesterday.

strange how none of the big clubs went for Fellani during the summer - no real gossip even about it. Everton away, monday night opener....think they'd have beaten most last night tbh. great atmosphere at Goodison too (as I would expect).

Seems like Fergie learnt nowt from the 4-4 at OT. Fellani bullied United all night and Everton were worthy winners. Can't remember a United squad with so little bite in it.
