have visited puerto del carmen in lanzarote over the past 6 years for xmas and the new year but looking for a bit of a change this time..weve 2 resorts in Tenerife in mind Edeke and los christianos ..anyone been there or recomend accomodation...just myself and partner going normally we go self catering but could cut right back on my clothing allowance and go hotel..also not bothered about disco bars .

Went to Los Christianos a couple of years ago in July and it was quite quiet at night even then,nice place though and not far from the Americas if you want it livelier,went to the edeke the year before,also quietish but some nice restaurants and a few bars which were alright.If i had to chose i'd go to Edeke probably.We stayed at the Fanabe hotel which was nice
