Lost interest in golf a while ago but always enjoy the toe-to-toe format of The Ryder Cup, think Europe have a good chance this year. Strange set up with the Medinah course though.
The morning foursomes went 2-2 but the Europeans are getting a bit of a spanking in the afternoon fourballs. The screaming Yanks in the crowd make it almost unwatchable
Agree Andy, they were amazingly quiet this morning when Europe were flying, now the US are cruising I've been watching with the volume off, can't bear it. Need some inspiration from somewhere as its not looking good just now.

The thing is it isn't the partizan support, you expect and accept that as part of the challenge of playing away, it's the two minute whooping after every put and the countless 'get in the hole' cretins on every tee/iron shot. So the day ends 5-3 to the Americans and you have to hold your hand up and say they were too good in the afternoon.

This. After the time Europe came back Europe from 8-4 anythings possible. Just hope our 2 deliver. Started well but in fairness this afternoon can't argue. Plenty to go yet.
Can't beat the ryder cup. Only sport that's drawn tears from me bar football. Darren Clarke....enough said.....defy anyone to keep a clear eye when Darren sunk the put.

Awesome golf from the US team in the fourballs, some of the European'ss were not at the races but credit to the US we were simply outplayed. Long way to go yet but we need a good day today. I would'nt fancy our chances going into the singles behind but you never know.
What time is it on until ? My Girlfriends Dad works for FootJoy and her brother is mad on it, aint been round this weekend else i'd of watched !! Not a massive golf fan but i dont mind watching it when there is a tad of real passion, watched that video of poulter yesterday, classic.

Brilliant stuff, What a summer of sport it has been, i have watched some absolute triumphs in 2012 and i dont think it will ever be repeated in such an emphatic way.
The rydar cup....what an event. Never fails to be unmissable but this today was something else....
