Think as we have noticed and from the feedback recieved a lot more of us seem to be enjoying the diversity offered on here with other brands etc, we offer something different and all members seem to be getting on, At the end of the day people have a choice, where they want to go, Personally i feel there is enough choice out there with other forums, Offhand offers something a bit different, with what seems like all regular members pulling in the right direction, Upto now its been a great place to seek new brands and chat. there is scope for keeping this close knit and bringing on stockists who are aware of us all, so this in time will benefit us all. New members are beginning to get involved among the more established which is a good thing, and whether Nomads carries on with its glitches, has no bearing on here, let them pop over, more than welcome, Offhand was around, as those from the beginning know, well before Found closed. We will continue what we are doing and hope those involved will stick around, its not and has never been about us and them imo. I wish i had the time to pop over on nomad as know a fair few lads on there, just dont find the time, and not as user friendly as I would like. There are some really good knowledgable lads on here, with their eyes on stuff other than SPW, which is what we want, and hope for this to carry on...
To my mind we stay as we are, a close knit group that know each other (and look out for one another) and regards any newcomers with suspicion. Seems harsh, but it's how 80s has run for the last four years.
After all, what's the purpose of accepting every Tom Dick and you know who other than bumping up the numbers?
What say we make the acceptance by invite or by knowledge only?
