Finished work and went over my mams for tea, went to meadowhall shopping with me mam, then went back and had a few drinks and listened to wednesday away with my stepdad, was like being a kid again, so i finished up the night watching oasis live at the gmex 97 be here now tour (mtv footage) in my old room. Might have a wank over the All Saints to complete the night.
As much of a space cadet question as this is, when was the last time you was transported back to your mid teens (or any big memorable time) and what triggered it?
couple of weekd ago I went to visit a mate and I walked in his front room and he had this playing and we both laughed and burst into some impromtu 1989 style rave shuffling/dancing. for a few minutes I was rushed back to some sweaty warehouse having it large.
Had tears in my eyes at one point as it brought back such top memories!!!!

There are a lot of Charlatans songs that really take me back- Jesus Hairdo, Crashin' In, Weirdo- all take me back to particular times. The first Jurassic 5 album was the soundtrack to my first proper lads holiday, so that one is always a trip down memory lane.
The weirdest is when you smell something and it makes your head spin- until you work out what it is and what it's reminding you of.
Its funny you say weirdo by the charlatans james, two of my older mates always do this same thing with there hands when it comes on in the pub, ied noticed each of them doing it, when i asked about it they didnt realise how often they did it, turned out to be some daft dance theyed seen someone do whilst out when they were younger which they used to copy bit of an in joke. I guess theyed done it so much that the song triggers it. We had em on there feet demonstrating, they called it the mike tyson dance.
