Aside from dodgey knife merchants I thought this was good from the Lazio fans. I remember the game when he scored against Roma. The days of Italia football on Channel 4.
that's superb that is. Honestly didn't realise they held him in such esteem. Remember the time he'd the wig with the long curly hair. Pictures of him training with that wig on
that was back in the days when the show had Luther Blisset on it - one of our best exports to Italy
"The nightmares invading the sleep of Bayern fans involve four horsemen of the Champions League Apocalypse riding towards them. As the faces come into focus, they will recognise Frank Lampard, Cole, Petr Cech and Drogba. All were immense..."
Gazza was on the same flight as me to Rome - he was in the cheap seats, how the mighty have fallen, Spurs legend but also played for Rangers so dilutes my liking for him. Wasted talent & looked like he was rattling when he was checking in.

he,s still fucked lives in the same street as my mate always half cut and looking for his dads dog i know a few blokes that made a good living from him when he was in lazio.... the money he made there was unreal
Used to get up religiously every Saturday morning to watch Gazatta Football Italia and Gazza. Was mad for Italian football growing up even more than I was English football and it was mainly down to him. One of the first football shirts I ever owned was the Lazio Banco Di Roma shirt with Gazza's number on the back.
