It's is a real issue with boxers; they don't know when to quit. The difference with boxing as compared to other sports is that the only thing an ageing tennis player is going to have hurt during a comeback is his pride.
if he's in good condition , which he certainly looks , then good luck to him .. George Foreman , was in his 50's and still knuckling fuckers .. Love Hattons style , very entertaining to watch ..
Felt for the lad during his interview, he definitely looks a troubled soul and I'm not sure it is just to do with boxing. When he said 'I'm not a failure' and then broke down that looked worrying.
As for the fight, well I don't think anyone can be surprised by what they saw, he looked on the slide four years ago and his punch resistance had gone back then. When he announced his comeback I remember the thread on here was full of lads thinking it was a bad move and so it proved. Hang 'em up Ricky.

I agree with you 100% mate..So sad to see a legend of the ring go out like that.
