I used to wear and source Helmut Lang but now gone forever, probably the most intense earthy smell ever, stunning, Not really an afershave guy but the one that everybody seems to comment on with me is Body Shop White Musk, even the blokes ask what it is.
I'm quite conservative when it comes to aftershave. The two that I first bought were Cacherel and Versace (back in 87) and I still use both. I'd thought that Cacherel had been discontinued, but the wife managed to somehow get a bottle last Christmas, so that gets used sparingly.
In addition to these, I've got Penhaligon's 'Endymion' and 'LP No 9'. For 'everyday' I've got a bottle of Paco Rabanne XS, which the wife got on the cheap and then I've recently bought a small bottle of Paul Smith Extreme to go with me on my travels - 50ml for convenient use in hand luggage.

You're not wrong there, well worth the price although it does fade a bit during the day.
Generally go for Taylor's Sandalwood, 212 or Comme de Garcons. One of those things I tend not to buy for myself though.
Over the past 5 or so years ive had about 2 bottles of Emporio Armani cologne a Diesel only the brave which is nice and John Paul Gaultier. But i'm not one to oftern put it on.
I sometimes get them little selection mix boxes of about 5 or so tiny bottles of cologne so just use them aswell.

Love that Vera Wang, usuallly wear it when suited and booted. One million and boss bottled.
De Terry by Hermes but have been using Comme de Garcon Cologne series 4 Amber and Comme de Garcon Wonderwood recently. Also have a 12ml bottle of Shamama Mohsin (Tradional Perfume) in my pocket these days....
Tried the new Bentley Aftershave last week, have to say it is very nice and I recomend one to try some.

Had that too aswell as One Million. However the One Million started being worn by every man and his dog. Had to get rid!
Do you just walk about smelling people by any chance?
........ ye .what i thought. surely every big selling aftershave is worn by a lot of people. when in a club who notices what your wearing aprt from he girl your with. strange
