Seems they really turning the screw, just had an invoice from Fedex stating I owe them 23 quid for 100 canandian dollar jacket, now the only thing I ordered was a few days ago from Haven shop and it wasnt a jacket. Fucking joke so beware the snipers are out. And then they sayting its 32 days late, how they work that out as not got item yet.
It's nigh on impossible these days, everything seems to get picked up. Also, USPS has put prices up to beyond a joke, costs like $20 to send an LP regular post to the UK these days...
Has anyone actualy signed a contract saying they would pay these handling fees and unlawful taxes? Read of one guy who refused to pay UPS the handling fee due to him not signing a contract with them. He didn't pay and received the goods!! Only way to change things is to take a stance!! Must be hard for small independent traders overseas who are suffering due to customers not ordering from overseas due to Handling Fees and Tax!
Don't know whether its down to Xmas or what but its been bad since early Dec. I've been gripped on stuff marked as gift and low value. I think the limits have changed now and are even lower. The bit that gripes me is when you get a bill for £19 and £14.50 of its a bastard admin fee. Had some decent buys from US mind even when paid duty on top.

Yeah I give in now with it, turns out they are stinging me for something which has not arrived yet and insisted invoice is 30 days late, what they have done is mixed up the pricing of an item coming in from Havenshop and placed it with an order dated from Inventory, not the brightest so I gonna try and play on their error and knowing my luck they will ask for a bigger fee for the Inventory order. Wank... had my head baffled for all of last night

is that royal mail, last i new it was £8(which is still overpriced) cant of gone up that much in 2yr.
Its gifts with a value of £36 or less that are duty free. Anything bought from a shop has to be under £15. And remember that includes the postage, so in effect that means anything bought from the US will be charged.
Easy money for them isn't it. Think of how much revenue they lost by not stopping everything.

Think that was one of the couriers Ant, think RM is either £8 or £10 and I think Parcelforce £12 but I could be wrong, lose track of them all nowadays tbh
