Word that Ashley might sue if the player is forced to retire or can't play for a long period. We all know what Ashley is like as well, loss of a player is loss of money... The one thing he cares about. Plus he fucking hates Whelan and owns the bitter twat, that is why Whelan is being a dick. Washed up business man.
As the the decision today, did we really expect any different lads? Howay.
Bad tackles, bad refs. That's football only difference is that everything is scrutinised in great detail now and made to look worse. At the end of the day those who feel so hard done by due to a ref's decision or a chairman protecting an asset ought to take their heads out their arse and take a look at some of the things going on around the world at the moment.

I'll post what I like thanks! I think you can link part of my previous post to the ref getting death threats tho. Anyway How's it bad refereeing if he didn't see the incident, it's a fast paced game there's 22 people on the pitch, players cheating, diving and feigning injury. have you ever played the game? Never mistimed a tackle yourself or been whacked? I blame the FA they should just ban the player for 3 games with a maximum fine.

maybe you should start a thread on officials, this thread is about referee's!

according to the FA Director of Comms (or whatever his title), apparently the officials don't actually need to see the full incident categorically. In otherwords, they can see enough to know something happened but if they feel they did not see it categorically enough to give a firm punishment...then so be it - .in which case, the FA still won't intervene as they deem it 're-refereeing' . And apparently the current process was agreed by all the great and good - PFA, Clubs, etc...etc....
sounds like bollocks to me but that's the broad reason he gave on Talksport on Tuesday when pressed on why no punishment from officials.
"The nightmares invading the sleep of Bayern fans involve four horsemen of the Champions League Apocalypse riding towards them. As the faces come into focus, they will recognise Frank Lampard, Cole, Petr Cech and Drogba. All were immense..."
Perch does it all the time he's a bit like Cattermole but only better, and he doesn't go round practicing on car wing mirrors when the owners arnt there
