Sign of the times. High profits yet Corporations are still increasing the prices for Gas & Electric. No idea who offers the best deal? Working man in Britain is getting squeezed more every year.
..our lass swaped ours onto the co.operative ..I was in last week when the meter man came last week and he was saying a lot of people had gone with them..

From what I have come across the National Grid are still in charge of supplying the UK Electricity and the Energy Companies are contracted to take our money!

I live in a council flat and both Gas & Electricity are on Meters. When it realy cold it costs around 20 a day to keep warm so I let my wife and 2 girls stay at her mum's. Also have an old immersion heater that costs a packet to keep putting on to heat water up!

It's the importing of the gas that's part of the problem...also your paying a premium for privatisation as the REC's ( Regional Electricity Company's) now have to put there shareholders first...

I just barter with them never pay a fixed sum, gone are the days when I succumb to paying them prices and not been cut off, just use excuses when a red letter comes, wouldn't advise this just I dont and never have bothered about bills, they get their money when I have it. I have no kids BTW which might explain my behaviour
i agree in some small way but it doesnt matter who gets in were all going to get fucked sooner or later,none of the mp,s are interested in anyone else except themselves

fuckin right i'll moan , she moans enough when a new coat arrives , also about the bill , yet i'll come home from walking dogs , every single light possible will be on , every electric device on , she even has the heatnig on in summer !!!!!!!!!!!!!

It seems like every time they come and service the meter they adjust it to use more gas or electric. 20 top up a day for Gas to keep the flat warm in winter is ridiculous.
