City become same as Chelsea , as Real , as Barca , but that's football of today , sure these managers have no money worries , it's just about pride .. Mancini comes across as very passionate , but that sometimes boils over , and he argues with every fucker .. I wouldn't say Utd won the title , more the infighting has caused City to lose it .. team they have , on paper , is formidible ..
He deserved to go in the end IMO just didn't seem to get enough out of some of our players. We didn't seem to defend the title this season just give it up far to early, yes we won it last year but we know when the pressure was off we performed and united bottled it. If we went 2 years without the title he'd of gone anyway. With the 2 ex Barcelona men they'll keep the club stable no matter which manager comes in aslong as these 2 do the business then we should be ok.
Oh Man City, the only football team to come from Manchester
I thought he'd been given another season and I'd of been happy to give him the chance to try to win the title back.
No1 knows for sure if he has lost the dressing room or not but it speaks volume not 1 player as come out to defend Mancini.
In football this happens the fans loved him for winning us the cup and title in 2 years, if our next boss comes in then wins the title everyone will be happy again.

Was gutted when I heard he was getting the chop last week, but the more I hear about whats gone on behind the scenes it all starts to make a bit more sence..
Still not feeling great after the final on Saturday but will get behind the new manager, just hope whoever it is, he's wise to get rid of Dzeko, Garcia, Kolorov and Sinclair!!

Don't agree with City becoming another Chelsea (at least not yet).
The owners have been there over 4 and a half years and this is only the 2nd dismissal. How many managers have Chelsea been through in that time?
I would have given Mancini another year but felt he'd lost the players and for some reason wasn't able to change games this season like he did the year before.
Aye that was good of him,saw a programme on sky sports about a young fan who had something wrong with him and he met the City players and Manchini seemed a really decent bloke

when someone buys a club , spends millions on players , then they want a return , so yes , City will become same as Chelsea / Real / Barca , never see the likes of Fergie again , and I'm still suprised Wenger is in a job ..
no , and hasn't won a thing for about 8 years .. pretty football is all well n' good , but players want trophies , why do you think everyone's left ? RVP , Fabregas , Song , Cole , and so on ..

Just to clarify I was only referring to turnover of managers.
As yet the owners of City have sacked two (one who they inherited). Not saying that won't change but currently can't be compared on that front.
Not saying that this won't change but looks like they are structuring the club hierarchy on a different Barca-ish model.
....and yeah, the term holistic makes me squirm ;-)
