It's a combination of points with Chelsea isn't it ( although I don't have a beef with them at all); Abramovitch & the cash Perception fans aren't local and pitch in from all over home counties Mourinho (love or hate him) They are in an affluent area The captain is a cock.

Chelsea have always had a strong core support, our away support in the 80's was famous. Yes we have attracted lots of gloryhunters and tourists but Arsenal, Liverpool, United etc have the same.
Arsenal are the most middle class club in world football, their away support looks like an end of Harry Potters. I liked going to Highbury, a proper footbal ground, but the Emirates represents everything wrong with football today.

Chelsea had a good away following back in the day.Me,I dislike them because of the Rangers connection.Ditto any club who connect with the other lot a la St.Pauli.To be fair,a lot of the hardcore Chelsea fellas from the 70's/80's must be pissed off at the new breed.Where were half this new lot when they were playing at the likes of Blackburn on a midweek winter's night back in the old 2nd division.Probably supporting the likes of Liverpool back then.
