Everton got the better out of the deal, a great new manager who plays football that's good to watch, man ure are turning in to the Everton that Moyes managed, boring to watch, long balls, clueless.
Tbf to whoever took over they were on a hiding to nothing.
Do the Utd fans think Fergie got out at just the right time, ageing squad etc ? I know a lad who I speak to through work who's had a ST for years thinks he knew exactly what he was doing and knew when to call it a day, reckons it was well planned. He's quite realistic about Moyes, reckons it will come good but thinks it could be 2-3 years for him to make his mark, re build etc
what you reckon Andy? my prediction of 'first 6 games of next season' still a runner? or will he be away before that?

Rumours all over the shop
He should be gone already Glenn if we're being honest but I still believe Fergie would oppose any moves to sack him yet. The problem with giving him a big wedge to spend in the summer means that you then have to give him time to see how his signings work out. New signings won't change the fact that he's a tactical dinosaur with an always negative approach.

Hope Villa smash us at the weekend.
yeah, I've been mulling this one over. keeping him into next season means giving him money and given how fellani has worked out, the yanks wont be quick to hand more money over you'd think. It's the performances Andy. Absolutely shocking - nothing remotely like the 'Utd way'. He'd have survived on the results I think if the performances had have shown some progress but it's awful stuff. Makes you wonder what Fergie was on recommending him.
as an aside, he seems to be struggling with the Mata conundrum that most predicted i.e. how to fit Rooney, RVP, Mata and the kid on the wing into the same team. And shunting Mata out wide aint the answer as he's finding out.

He loves Chelsea, his family love London, daughter goes to uni there. He is a family man. Some things matter mow than how big the club is. Chelsea not exactly small either ;)

There's no way he would turn down the chance to manage a big, no make that massive club, like United
sounds very sure that does.....which, of course, you'll have evidence to back up that claim then? Cause tbh, your not really best equipped to judge someone who's managed elite European cup winners like Inter Milan, Porto, Real Madrid and CHELSEA..... and anyways.....Jose wouldn't be seen dead down in Farmer Barleymow country, what with the ugly birds and shocking dress sense. He's made for the Kings Road, where his corner shop is Harrods.... so leave the serious top level debate to those of us used to it and you worry about who's gonna manage Notts County or whoever your rivals are down Emmerdale way

There's is no way Mourinho is gonna say he'd rather go, or would rather be at United whilst being bank rolled by some dodgy Russian Mafia type bloke. (Just a thought wouldn't it be 'interesting' if and when the OB catch up with him and his money laundering deals. ) His big head must have been ready to implode when he found out he'd had been over looked by, Moyes!
