If ever someone talked themselves out of a job it's Lambert. I mean if your a chairman would you be happy paying sums of 8 million for players, then manager says he's not bothered about fa cup just aiming for premiership survival? He calls the job a project' every time he's interviewed!
Unused sub. Clough doesn't like him because of his disciplinary record. Said he's got to work hard to get back in the side, especially if Flynn and Murphy keep playing well. Although we'll prob get stuffed at Notts County next week

I never saw him play for Us, however I hold nothing against him for how he left, fair play for using us as a stepping stone when he wasn't wanted anywhere else....I bet he earns 5x at You what he did with us.
He won an incredible ammount of penalties last year for us...Funnily enough his diving for penalties was one of the reasons Will Grigg scored 10x what he'd scored in previous seasons and it lead to Brentford eventually signing him.
In years to come, who will be remembered. The side who gained an extra £1.4 million for finishing say 13th instead of 14th in the greed is good League or the side who won the cup and gave their fans a day they will remember the rest of their lives?
It could be argued that the FA Cup should be marked as high priority for most clubs as it will be the only chance they will ever see of seeing their club win a trophy.I'm sure Newcastle fans would give up winning a UEFA Cup place, for example for winning the FA Cup and hence the first domestic trophy since the 1950's.
The FA Cup should market itself as what it is.A counterbalance to the overegged League/Champions League and a chance for miracles to happen.Real football not football in a fantasy world from the reality of the average fan.
