I don't think you can T, I think you just play it through the Spotify app. I know I asked my eldest if I could transfer the music to iTunes and she said not.

Please note that you can only sync your locally stored files to your iPod. It's not possible to sync tracks from the Spotify catalogue to your iPod Nano, Mini, Shuffle or Classic.
so are you trying to copy streamed music over rather than files you've downloaded from spotify? IF so, sounds like you cant. Must be "locally stored". which, I'm not a user of Spotify but I'm guessing if you're storing them locally, you're missing the point of spotify which is streaming directly from the web......but I could be wrong.

Spotify app on any iphones and also most androids now could be the solution! If you already have a spotify account you can download this app and stream the music (your playlists) on your mobile. Mind you, it's only possible to play from one device at a time. Don't know if spotify (and music streaming in general) is the best thing for artists moneywise, but for music nerds like myself it was and is technology at its best.
