Not to offend anyone but i have always found the various defence leagues a joke.

Someone connected to EDL wrote on facebook earlier - Bend over and touch your feet and I'll show you where EDL jam it up (cleaned it up since the writer is kinda poor in the english language)

Makes me laugh i was in a boozer with my pal and he is black, over walked the local pisshead, who doesn't work handing out edl meeting flyer and cheeky fooker started rambling on to my black pal about how he was invited aswwell and just cause he is black etc etc needless to say the prick was told where to get off!

The EDL are always going to have a bad reputation because of some of the clowns like the one in the video that go on the demo's but your always going to get that and theres not really anyway that it can be stopped. Im sure most the lads on here would agree with the main things they stand for just maybe not how they go about it. Only been to two myself, one because it was in Wolves (but i was just in the town) and another local one to me because a very large group of lads from Wolves went. Not been bothered about going to anymore but i know lads that go to nearly all of them, not just white lads either, ive got asian and black mates that have been on the marches without any trouble at all. Alot of people seem to tar everyone that goes with the same brush when their only basing it on what theyve seen in the media which lets be honest is never going to be favourable towards them is it

They ( all Defence Leagues) are plonkers with politics that when they aren't suspect, are contradictory or ridiculously ignorant. A disgrace to the working class of this whole island as far as I'm concerned. The leadership of the EDL is a joke as well, defending a beast one minute and jettisoning him the next and hoping nobody would notice. Biggest use of misplaced anger that's been seen in this country in ages.
