aye, the concept of foresight is clearly lost on you.
I'll always be happier when a massive threat is taken out of society, there would be a threat of future attacks regardless, so that's neither here or there, maybe our leanings are just very different soul boy, but the majority of people can understand, those that don't well it's usually a certain kind, so probably best to cap this thread and leave idiots like you and Alex de large in the minority
I can understand why people are pleased, i'm saying that if the repercussions of his death were considered to be considered, then the joyous mood might be a bit misguided.
No bother pal, i'll leave it at that and not resort to name-calling.

I don't think he is in the same bracket as alex de alrge he was just making a daft comment. Soul Bhoy has a point, as do you. The death of Osama is obviously a good thing, it's an act of revenge and as said gives families and friends of those killed closure. However, look at it from another angle and you could argue that his death will only cause revenge attacks against America, then where will it stop.
Could you imagine the outrage if Bin Laden wasn't killed? Saying it isn't something to celebrate is so stupid. One less crazy man on this earth sounds good to me!
I don't really care what anybody's views on it are but in the long run it will keep the majority happy. Will even provide a smoke screen over the whole Islamic terror in the Western World for a bit, because people over here will think we have one up on them. Sad I know, but the masses look at the small picture when it comes to these events. And when living in a democracy it is the opinion of the masses the government must cater for (most of the time).
Sorry to jump on the back end of a massive thread but i'm half and half on this one. think 'soul' has a point AND can see why people are celebrating but imho its all a load of cobbles? where the fuck is the body? buried at sea? eh? don't you think everyone wants to see it? there ain't no fucking proof so im not buying it... Sorry if this makes me come across as a twat but it all seems like bullshit to me?

I know what you mean. I am also undecided on his death. The comment I made was purely on the fact people should not celebrate it.
Rather odd if you ask me that the American's are not gloating with his body on some sort of supersize float doing a US tour... They love to give themselves a massive pat on the back when it comes to war! This is a great achievement and no proof.

Dont get me wrong i came in all guns blazing but SURELY we need to see it. i watched a report than said navy seals landed on his compound and he "refused to surrender"? blow his fucking knee cap off and carry the cunt then... it then went on to say that they buried him at sea because this is in tact with the islamic religion? no sense to me one bit. It makes me feel like one of these conspiracy theory potheads but i cant cant get my head round that fact that is no proof of a body thats all...
I must admit I have had the same thought, but then again, if he is still alive he could release a tape and Obama would be well and truly fucked. Would he really risk that? The way he announced it seems like he's pretty confident that they've got him.
I'm surprised there's not photos on the web of some American commando riding Bin Ladens corpse doggy style or something
True this. I am not buying it before I see anything but proof. Heard theyre doing DNA samples though, anyone figured out how they do that ?
its taken them so many years to find this dude who been in constant hiding then suddenly - "he's dead" . No offence to anyone who have lost love ones but we're talking about a man who is responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands of people and suddenly... "he's dead" - no body, no proof, no nothing and im not buying it
i dont think its much to ask for some proper proof, the people of world deserve it!
This sort of thing does not happen over night Thom. Takes months or years of intel & planning. ( I was in the service.. I know even simple operations take time)
Considering he was in Pakistan made it even more of an issue. Surely going all in into Pakistan and him not being there would have been fucked. Surely intel had to be dead on & that takes time, resources and time.
As for evidence. Reports say he was tested (DNA) and matched family members.
Burying the body and actually giving Bin Laden a physical grave you make him a martyr and a place of worship for those who followed him.
I think in this case like it or not he got what he deserved. An unmarked grave in the middle of nowhere.

This is the reason by the Pres and I completely understand. While I would like to see his head on a stake I also thing that if he wasn't dead and popped up later things would get pretty ugly worldwide.

same mate, done my time......fact is the age old saying is true......hurry up and wait. That sums the military up all over. As for burying him at sea, good, however had it been me i would of bicced the cunts hair off, shaved off his beared and stuck is head on a fucking pike! thatwould of riled them fuckers up for sure!
DNA has already been done...it was definaley him im sure of it. you can't lie about this sort of shit....can you possibly imagine if it came out he was still alive.....that would possibly have as bad effect on the american people as 9/11 did. As the trust would be gone. im glad that goat fucking douche bag is sleeping with the fishes......the end! ha ha
I agree I also believe that they have killed him and I am glad they did, but I reckon they could easily fake it if they wanted too. The american government is historically the biggest and most succesful terror organization in the world and they've covered up loads of shit over the years.

can't disagree with that....they are one dirty nation (conspiracy wise), cover ups to cover cover ups. Would hate to work for the CIA, wouldn't want to end up finding out things i shouldn't. chances are i'd end up with Osama in the drink....
