Zitat von LocomotionWhat the fuck has Middleborough got to do with Ulster?
They are both shitholes that have never got over their industrial past and the factories, ship builders and chemical plants shuting down. Thats all I can think of.
I'm not really sure of all this pressure, I'm never gonna lose any of my old letters, 'Cause they'll stay with me, Until I can see that I'm no one

Shove that fucking ulster flag though, Loyalism is the biggest fucking bent fashion trend in football.
The thing is my man that it's not even loyalism. It's plastic loyalism and the majority of the crowd that claim to be 'loyalists' as such have never been to Ulster and certainly have no grasp of Irish history. Any of the plastic loyalists I've come across in Britain tend to fancy themselves as hard men, see loyalism as an extension of their Britishness (when in fact they are both very different aspirations - I think of Britishness as tolerance, acceptance, welcoming, amongst other things - not things you normally associate with Loyalism). The Loyalists you come across at football (Ibrox apart) tend to be totally insecure in my opinion and they think it gives them some sort of identity.

I agree with you, that's why I find it a silly fashion trend and nothing more. It's no different to some of those, who think the EDL is big and clever, yet, have no real political opinion as such. These things really get under my skin, racism and political opinion has no place on a football terrace.. it's almost like seeking out acceptable ways to be subtly racist. I don't consider myself ''British'' though as I don't think that can define much about me or the people of Britain, I see myself as Welsh.
