Been twice stopped at the Luxor great hotel a bit cheaper than the others on the strip, only trouble being it is at one end of the strip not central , great food all you can eat for about 12 dollars and you wouldn't believe the choice you get, The most central hotel is probably ceasars palace but don't know the prices, Night times spoilt for choice free entertainment in all hotels in new York new York ugly coyote bar worth a visit also duelling piano in same hotel I think. Fantastic place I'm well envious
I went for a week for a mates birthday a couple of years ago, sadly I literally can't remember much. I can show you my bank statements though to prove I had a good trip?
Time it right mate playing the fruit machines when the waitress comes round ask for what you want and tip them a couple of dollars each time you won't be able to get rid of her !
My mates are going soon. They seem to have got a really good deal. Staying at the for about £22 a night! Mind you they'll be bankrupt when they get back Whores and gambling is a weakness for 'em!
always wanted to go to vegas and watch a british boxer fight, one day maybe. you should have a blast mate heard nothing but good things about the place, get saving
Another thing is don't book a hotel with a agent phone them direct or wait until you get there the more of you there are the better the deal you will get.
Someone reminded me yesterday that ive been paying into a sharesave thingymebob at work for the past 3 years, and that matures in a couple on months, so no saving really required ; )
And Mr Watts, I thought they were everyones weakness...
OH member - Rob, got married out there.
Which should leave a nasty taste in anyone's mouth..... I've stayed at Luxor and Mandalay Bay which is ace, I prefer it at the bottom of the strip. Fatburger and in n out burger for the junk food enthusiast. plenty more to do than gamble. There are assorted Mexicans handing out porn on most street corners. Couldn't cope with th place for more than 4 days now though. This time of year it's serously fucking hot.
The lads im going with were onabout going for 7 nights first but ive just about managed to convince them to go for 10 instead. All the other lads holidays weve done have been for 2 weeks (South Beach Miami and Ayia Napa). Do you think 10 nights is too long for Vegas or just about right?

Book a hospital appointment for when you get back, in fact go one better. Put 999 on speed dial.
It would be about right for me , in the day is just like any other holiday hanging around the pool few beers , so 10 days is ok
I dont see it as a pool kind of holiday. I will be hitting it "fear and loathing" style for 5 days straight!
I went on a rugby tour about 5 years ago. 50 of us. It was fucking carnage.
Stayed at Circus Circus - doubt I was there much. The breakfast buffet was good though. I recal the Outdoor bar at Hurrahs got a hammering, A place called the double down was popular as it was all Punk, New wave and alternative, downtown towards the end of the week when we ran out of money, silver dollar - all well drinks were 50c. Vodka orange and bottled beer and that plus I found a hot dog place that did foot long chiili dogs for $1 - breakfast, dinner and tea for $3! The last two days I was fucking skint as I spunked me dough at a lap dance place smashed out me head.
One of the best days was a trip into the burbs and we played some team, got to the pitch and the posts had been nicked! Anyway we played and then they took us on the smash in the local bars, no slot machines in sight! Was great.
Other highlights - the slingshot on top of the stratosphere, in n out burger, fat burger and all the mad hotels and the levels of excess.

G.
Fair play but I went with the other half , with the lads it will be mental.
I got married out there, but it aint all bad and been back a few times. Saying that i had 50 over for my wedding and we smashed the gaff. My old man paying for a brass the night before my wedding, rolling in 2 hours before i was due at the chapel, 2 of the highlights.
I've stayed at bally's which is on one of the 4 corners (central), its a bit older than the rest but good value. Always have a story (anniversary etc) and ask for an upgrade. We got a suite at Ballys, steam room, shower room like a bedroom etc (said we were getting married). I also had a suite at The Bellagio ( for my actual wedding) which was nice, but very expensive. Last time i went we stayed at MGM grand and got upgraded (getting married again.....works every time) to a better room. Nice and cheap compared to Europe. Always been with the wife, although we did do some strip clubs, but have no idea what they were . Pools during the day are stuffed full of top birds. Spent most days there straightening myself out on coctails and perving birds. Trip to the Grand canyon was a little hairy on a small plane, but the helicopter ride at the nd of it into the canyon beat any roller coaster i've been on. Did a helicopter rid round the strip at night which was good. Food, everywhere is top. Someone previously mentioned the burger place that is unbeleivable. We will be back in 2 years for our 10th anniversary, top place

Been twice, 7 nights would be enough. To be honest for me 5 is plenty, although some people would disagree. 2 weeks ways too long IMO.
