Palace are in Brighton tonight , the town centre is full with both sets of fans and the old bill in the middle, this to me is what footballs about , quick change then off to the game, local derbies I lov'em
Eye's right, skin back tight, bollocks to the front, we're the boy's who make more noise when we're on the cunt, we're the riders of the night, and we'd rather fuck than fight, we're the riders of the Clock end Highbury
Love the derby but i hate the association with the other side. Don't like being labelled as the old firm although it's hard to break out of that habit.
Quote by PadraigGlasgow derbies are what is about. Refuse to use the term "Old Firm" as I despise being mentioned in the same breat as that mob from the Southside.
If your out in the city the day before or the night before the game you can literally feel the buzz in the air. Unreal.
But nothing ever beats winning at the Shitpit , winning at Parkhead is also top notch but winning there is unreal.
Love Em... Just The 12 O'Clock Kick Off On A Sunday (On Police Advice) Means Getting Up Early To Be In The Bozzer For 10 O'Clock.. THINK That's The Real Reason I Love Em..

says a lot about Palace that their biggest rivals on and off the pitch are from outside of London. Strange lot, the Nigels.
We get herded like cattle, an 8 hour roundtrip 40 miles down the road. Full police escort, stopping the traffic for us as we go, in a way that puts a downer on it especailly when the plod steal our booze... only one of 4 games in Britain where both sets of fans aren't allowed to walk the same streets as one another. Still, It's worth it, nothing beats a derby day, or even a derby day victory (which is very rare for us when we play Swansea).
Our Bristol derby under the same conditions on the other hand, is shit
