What a city - hopefully be back over there in February or March
What sort of thing are you looking for? Shops wise Firmament is decent but prices are similar to over here. Can't advise on restaurants but there are some cracking cafes/bars around Mitte if that's your bag. The Hamburger Banhof art gallery is superb too http://www.smb.museum/smb/hbf/text.php?id=110&lang=en as is the Kennedy Museum near the Brandenburg Gate (if you're into US History)
Quote by Turnstylenot really fussed about clubs....good bars and restaurants and a bit of shopping really.
Monsieur Vuong's (Vietnamese) and Mustafa Gemuse (Turkish kebab stand) are a must. Cheap and located in Kreuzberg, which is a really cool little district to have mooch around.

Soul Bhoy was there a few weeks ago, I'm sure he'll be on shortly to tell you about some must have burger

The Bird.. best burger I've ever had bar none. American style place.. proper top notch fare.. burger served medium rare with a side order of the hottest hot wings I've ever tasted.
Check out the 'Yam' man made beach next to the Berlin wall if the weathers good.. you can chill, have a beer/smoke, get some home made jerk chicken and rice and there's usually a Dj spinning some fine soul/funk/hip hop next to the bar from about mid evening onwards.
Shopping wise.. Firmament and 14oz as mentioned.. particularly 14oz, there's a beer garden out the back of the shop, a whole Cabourn floor and a jellyfish tank. There's also an APC shop, Soto which stock the likes on Tom Browne, Nanamica, Acne. Stab is the best trainer shop about. Just along from Soto and accross the road there's a selvedge denim shop similar to flat head.. rails upon rails of raw denim. Civilist is decent too, they have a lot of Norse, Bleu de Paname. Next to it is the new Stussy shop as well.. All these shops are located within about a square mile of each other, all near a street called Tor Strasse. Most shops have Maps with all the other good shops on the area in them. Plus there's plenty nice bars and restuarants in the are if you want a sit down.. as well as a nice park next to civilist with a kebab shop beside it which sells bottles of Budvar, Berliner, Heinneken for 1.25 euros.
It's one of those cities where you can pick any destination on the subway and you'll find somewhere cool.
Also, the kebabs over there are the best I've ever had, mostly due to the large turkish population and the use of actual meat.
