Quote by STEVECFCsummed up nicely there Glenn .. though tactically he got it spot on when we played Arse( trophies )nil , we could never beat them fuckers .. Chelsea have had some real good flair players , but a lot of dross has made its way in .. Chris , CAN'T HIT A COWS ASS WITH A BANJO , Sutton springs to mind ..
aye mate, that Arsenal game. One of the most emotional games that was. Watching Ranieri when Bridge scored still gets me. Would have loved him to win the CL and then walk away.
Remember Suttons first game, Steve? He missed about 3 golden chances including a one-on-one when he was miles clear. Knew then it wasn't gonna work out. We;ve had a few alright. Robert Fleck - another who arrived as a goalscorer but did hardly scored a goal.... one of the worst was Jokanovic. Fuck me, how bad was he.

No JT or Cashley tonight. Rumours that Lampard isn't even on the bench. I fear a complete collapse, similar to a few years back at White Hart Lane in the league cup semi (5-1 Totnum that night). Think Napoli will go close to matching Milan's result against the Arse last week. I really fear the worst. Not looking forward to this at all.

It's funny how you just know, isn't it? Bit like after twenty minutes into Torres' debut you knew it was doomed to fail. Ancelotti royally fucked up trying to accommodate everyone in attack and it's been downhill ever since. As for that list of expensive strikers that haven't made the grade at the Bridge - where do you start? Fleck, Cascarino and Furlong - were all expensive at the time. The jinx has continued to the present day....you know if that team in 97/98/99 had a prolific number 9 they could have gone onto great things.
Napoli had some of worst defending I've seen this season....and yet we still got well chinned. Ivo looks like a different player and how many goals will we concede before he finally accepts luiz will never be a solid centre back. I'd have preferred to be played off the park than losing to a team we should have scored 4 or 5 against. And drogbas time is over. He's a shadow of the player and only preventing the development of others by being there.

it's getting worse Glenn - a shambles, the players (as well as AVB) must take their share of the blame. How many of them stood up tonight and assumed any sort of responsibility on the pitch? If there's a more expensively assembled collection of dross in world football at the moment, then I'd like to know who they are. There was some truly shameful performances on that pitch tonight. We're talking about a team 6th in Serie A, not Barca or Real. I despair, I really do.
will he go now ? get someone in , in time to try and repair the damage ... just not up for it ... Luiz looked shocking tonight , Drogba did fuck all , Mereiles - my 16 year old is better , starting to bore myself now complaining ... :)

its true mate. No heart, some of those players have been shameful in recent games. But why he continually picks malouda...gonna get worse before it gets better Colm.

Chelsea havnt been right since Ray Wilkins went....they should go British for the next manager...and get back to basics...ive only seen them on the box but from what i have seen there are too many strolling through games without a care, and too many at the wrong end of their carriers (and good young uns will beat good old uns over a season!) and the centre half with the big barnet..fook me, he is garbage.......seems to be no pride or passion, well thats how it appears to me as an outsider looking in....on a brighter note Sturridge looks a good player!
